In truth, from what I've seen of this show, I didn't find it particularly funny. Even so, the points Tim Allen makes accurate and very relevant.

With all the crap on TV (Modern Family?) I found Last Man Standing very refreshing. I really liked the show because it made fun of many of the PC views of the world. There was also some counter-attacks about sometimes how hard-nosed the anti-PC crowd gets, so it was fun. Also, being a Ham radio operator, I especially appreciated those episodes and the technical accuracy employed.

I hope it finds a new home, but I am somewhat skeptical due the aggregate monetary demands of the cast...

I have never seen this show before, but after watching this, I am astounded that this even made it on television. It is a shame that the progressive media machine has cancelled it, and I do hope that the petitions change their minds, but otherwise, I think I might start watching this now. The laugh track, of course, is insufferable, but I think I can tolerate it if it means I can watch some television from a liberty-minded perspective.

It's the same humor as in his first show so it isn't quite as funny. The conservative points he makes are done so relatively subtle and not in-your-face like SNL. If libs are offended by that, it's no wonder that they are so terrified of Trump.

Personally I found this show very refreshing to hear something on air that wasn't Pro-Left, and stealing from edweaver I found it "hard to believe it got on at all."

Tim and his family grew up in and around Boulder Colorado which is DEFINATELY Leftists. One has to go to Boulder and absorb the snobbery and hypocrisy of the residents.
I used to sit down on the Boulder Mall and just laugh at the pompous and totally clueless fools that waddled by.

I'm a Ham radio operator and thought I'd give the show a look.
In the very first episode I watched, he had two lesbians moving in, next door. If that wasn't PC, I don't know what is.
I don't even remember what the second episode was about, but I haven't watched it, since.

You should have kept watching. Tim & his wife each became best friends with the masculine and feminine members of that couple. The "man" of the couple as I recall rode a Harley and was into cars and all things manly. Her partner was into girly stuff. All kinds of interesting issues came to light in all 4 relationships and they most definitely were not PC.

I watched the show early on, but the endless goofy daughters and quasi-liberal wife are just too much. I enjoy the work scenes, but feel Tim is the "last man standing" among of group of unbearables, who never seem to respect him or learn from him. Okay, I grew up on 50s TV, where parents were respected, people loved the USA, and children grew up and left home to become adults. I watch no network sitcoms now. Even MeTV is filtering mroe and mroe non-classic liberal TV, but, then it does originate in Chicago, it had to happen.

The only character I find dislikable is the wife. She's such a wishy-washy and RACIST liberal character...very cringe-worthy. The son-in-law, hard-core liberal, I actually liked a lot. He stood by his guns and was a great foil for Tim Allen's conservative arguments. Not all the daughters are goofy. The youngest is Tim's favorite and very conservative and a tough little cookie. Mandy, the middle daughter has grown in the show, too. She's now an entrepreneur, designing dresses in the family basement. Her struggles to be profitable were great story lines. You should give the show a longer chance. It really is an enjoyable and funny show.

I've been a fan of the show from the first season (I believe they just wrapped up Season 6) and the show is currently in syndication so it isn't too hard to find. Highly recommend checking it out if/when you have time. Maybe not ground-breaking, but when compared to so much of the drivel that is currently on network television, it is worth a watch. Do not watch if you are looking for "political correctness"...you won't find that here, which in and of itself was refreshing. I do hope the show continues on (another network picks it up) because I really think there's a demand for a show like this.

    Just discovered this program?
Have you been hiding under a rock for the past decade (plus)?
I am directing this remark to - NauticalSaunas
The rest of you can relax now... I was just taken back by how few people ACTUALLY know anything about Boulder Colorado and how pompous the majority of the residents are.
    Fortunately that is changing.
Sorry Hassan (I know you live outside of Boulder but still much to close for comfort in my opinion)
