Hello all, I am Fred - an enterpreneurial busunessman who read Atlas Shrugged in my late teens and found it to be enlightening. Not so much in that what Rand said was new material for me, growing up as the son of a businessman, Rand sinply put into words the things that I had always believed to be true, but did it in a far more concise and compelling manner than I would have been able to do.

I have read all of Rand's books, and find her nonfiction (Capitalism: the unknown ideal and The Virtue of Selfishness in particular) to be even more illuminating that her nonfiction.

I am happy to be here in The Gulch and look forward to conversing with like minded individuals.
