Something has been stewing in my dome. When I listened to Trump's inauguration speech I hear so much that a classic liberal would love. This concept of "bringing the power back to the people" is key. Yet, the left today is out of their heads over his election and his speech. Am I the only one who finds this curious? I know some who I have always considered intelligent leftists (they do exist...they often understand things like parental rights, homeschooling, etc) and even many of those were out marching this weekend, all up in arms. They are 100% against this guy and, clearly, aren't listening to what he's proposing. I just find it very, very curious. The opposite would be, "We're gonna rule you like a man with a little black mustache and tell you what the *&$% you're going to do for us. You got that!?" - and I think they'd cheer it. I'm left asking myself, "What is it these people want?" The only answer that sticks is - total destruction and pain.
