OK, I'm tired of the Russia hacking story

This is getting ridiculous. The news has latched on to this Russian hacking concept like a gator on a puppy. There were leaks of information that showed the Dems in a very bad light. I'm not even a Dem and I want to jump over it already. The news media is twisting the story to make it sound like Putin was on a keyboard tweaking votes on election night. No. Domestic operatives here leaked info. Some voters saw it and gave a hoot. The end. Talk about grasping at straws. Are we really that stupid as a nation? (don't answer that...)

Wikileaks said it wasn't the Russians.
With that in mind, me dino now adds that Rush Limbaugh had an interesting theory about who the hackers are as I drove to a deli to buy my catfish lunch as I usually do on Fridays.
Rush said it may take years to prove out but it could be some Bolshevik Bernie supporters, who are very ticked off over the $hillary fix that was unfairly arranged by the Jackass Party.

From the losers including libretards and RINO Dem Statists , first FBI is good see: Comey says no prosecutor would prosecute The gorgon hag. Next FBI bad : investigation reopened
Due to (well basically Wieners pedophilic actions the Husband to Huma ,a staged marriage) emails found on Huma Wieners laptop. Now FBI good : FBI agree's Russians interfered with election.
I will repeat from a former CIA Director Wm. Casey
"We will know our disinformation program is working when everything the American people think is false"
Is The CIA is on our side? They are on their own side . Some very bad folks to be sure. Clinton losing and the leaked emails exposing to citizens that are conscious, the nefarious behavior of the controlling Statists needs disinformation to fool us.

We The People are protected by slavering lapdog pets for whoever is in charge of the White House.
Hopefully, we will be better off when Trump is the one telling them to sit, roll over and play dead. .

The media did FAR worse in leaning the election towards Hillary than any "hacking" done by other countries.

I have no issue with believing Russia and China got into emails from our government people. The democrats didnt have very secure systems and they were more vulnerable.

I can also believe that the real reason for russia getting the information is the same reason anyone spies on other people- they want to know what the other person or country is up to.

Hillary and Obama shouldnt complain that someone leaked information that they wanted to keep hidden. I think ALL information that people are trying to hide because they are afraid others wont like them SHOULD be made public.

Snowden and Assange are heroes, not criminals and should be freed of prosecution. Hillary did FAR more damage with her cronyism than either of those people did.

The Dems need to coverup the act that their candidate (Hillaary R. Clinton) was the worst candidate in recent history. They want to hide the fact that the (the establishment Dems) had tostack the deck against Bernie to prevent him from winning the nomination and only kept him out by the use of the Super Delagate ploy.
On top of that they need to hide the fact that Clinton lost 31 states including 3 that had not gone Republican in over 30 years.
They way to obscure all of that is to claim that a Foreign power interfered with the election by having a third party disclose damaging information about there candidate at the last moment. For get the fact that Dir. Comey laid out a perfect case for indictment and trail of Hillary in his statement that the FBI would not request a Grand Jury or indictment of her.
It is all the Russians fault. It not the fault of a candidate who lost a bigger percentage of the Dem "base" and any Dems since Humphry ran against Nixon.

I think the "progressives" are correct that a foreign power caused them to lose the election. Remember, they consider Middle America to be a foreign power. :-)

        Hi, CBJ
Even worse, they seem to think of them as some sort of alien creatures. In reality, they are the true weirdos who through media from magazines to movies, to to so-called news organizations have glamorized themselves even including those with very small brains. Have any doubts? Take Robert DiNiro. A terrific actor. He is because he has no personality of his own. Next time when he's interviewed, watch him attempt to put two coherent sentences together.

Let's look at the facts Mam, just the facts. Only leaks by Wikileaks related to Democrat campaign and their candidate, none on Trump's campaign. Wikileaks says leaks didn't originate from Russia but from a leak here. A few weeks ago 27 year old DNC data analyst Seth Rich shot multiple times, including once in the back, on the streets of D,C, in what D.C. police called a botched robbery even though the "robber" took nothing from Rich except his life. Immediately after, Wikileaks offers an unprecedented reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Rich's murderer. Think it's all a coincidence that a young Democrat staffer with access to the DNC's data files is assassinated about the time all the DNC's dirty laundry is leaked?

The best way to end a story is just to agree with it. Yes, Putin probably has everything in the US hacked, so what? Our government does the same, so what? If you don't want it hacked don't put it on the internet, and especially don't put it on Hillary's personal server. Anyone that would do that is just too ignorant. Trump and the honest media should only state the fact, "Who allowed it to be hacked?" Would you want them to have access to everything?

This seems to be some sort of ritual or rite of passage. Every new administration going back more than 20 years has started out with some sort of kerfuffle over Russia. Russia is like a movie set. All façade with nothing behind it. Getting verbally tough with them, unlike the last administration, will quiet them down, then backing it up with some sort of display if they don't behave will keep them in line. Show weakness, however, and like a hole in a boat, they'll gush right in.

You are correct. I was born in the 60s and started my career in aerospace engineering (think Cold War). The Russians had been built up in our minds as some massive, powerful empire to fear. I remember the atom bomb drills they'd have us do in our schools here in California (total brainwashing). When Russians started defecting in their jet fighters in the later stages of the cold war we'd dissect the birds and find that the Russians were using technology 40 years behind ours (vacuum tubes, etc). It was mind-blowing. They really were just a big façade. I just seem them as jolly people who get bored and drink too much vodka, run by a corrupt government. Not too much different than us - haha!

        Much different than us.
There is still a spirit of freedom in this country. You'd never know it if you go by the lame-stream media, however. In Russia they have never known any sort of freedom -- Ever. If it was given to them like it almost was during the Reagan era, they haven't a clue as to what to do about it.

There are absolutely no facts to even suggest that the Russians had anything to do with the leaks. At this point, Assange has proven that he is much more trustworthy than the CIA, and he is very clear that the Russians were not the source. All logic points that it would make no sense for the Russians to help elect Trump. I wouldn't even entertain this totally fabricated claim. But I would ask the libtards what exactly is their objection to publicizing criminal activity associated with the most transparent administration ever?

In a few more weeks, the fake news will be that Russian hackers hacked weather patterns to send cold weather from the Arctic. For crying out loud, it will be January folks!

The funny thing about all this issue is that they're going crazy about the leak but no discussion about the substance of the charges. I guess if negative information is uncovered by an underhanded method the negative information has no value then huh?! Personally I don't really care where the information came from, the fact that the Democrats haven't denied it means it was all true.
All this discussion about the Russian hacking sounds very much like ..."just ignore the man behind the curtain"

Does anyone think the election was effected by these hacks? Fans of the Democrats want to say so, but i followed the election and Trump was taking the worst hits in the run-up. The news before the election was NOT "Hillary loses ground due to leaks.

It is, of course, possible that both explanations are simultaneously true. That the Russians were attempting to hack into targets of opportunity and were detected breaching the DNC servers and at least making an attempt at the RNC servers.

It's also possible that WikiLeaks got it's data from an insider in the DNC who was unhappy about how Bernie Sanders was treated and not a hack. Just because the Russians may have been detected trying to breach the servers does not mean that they provided the data to WikiLeaks.

This is the fourth article I've read that reminds us that it was a leak and not a hack. (link at the bottom)

Whether it was or not, I remind everyone, that NO ONE has disputed the information revealed!
Seems obvious the demo's are just pissed they got caught at the hands of one of their own.

90+% of the country, (land mass, not population) voted for trumpet...there is no way any "Hack" could do that directly. In fact, just in, Chicago recount shows more votes for hiltery than voting tolls say possible...and to be fair and honest...a few recounts are under what vote counters reported. All the other recounts or vote investigations report No Hacking.

And another thing...The demo's Have tried to influence the voting in other countries, most recently in Israel...in my mind...they have no right to bitch or complain.

    Hello Abaco.
The hacking is a potential problem. An investigation into it should be done as well as hardening of our cyber defenses. That said: I too am tired of the politicization of this story and the conflating of the hacking with the election results. The progressives and the MSM want to conflate the two for political advantage and use it as a smokescreen and diversion. The real story is the democrats' inability to address or refute the substance of the leaks. In truth, the public should be grateful the information was released before the election so an informed vote could be cast. Yes we should be grateful; if it had an effect on the election it may be that we dodged a bullet.
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

I'm sick of same, Abaco. I see lots of passionate finger pointing and even read a joint statement of spooks saying they are "confident" the Russians did it. Well, IMHO, passion and confidence aren't evidence. I say it's time to put up or shut up.

I'm sure the Dems were tired of hearing about Benghazi but the truth was theirs to own.

When did America's intelligence agencies become incompetent fools again? Or was that political lap dogs, I forget.

The real story was buried a long time ago. The real story being that the hack showed the DNC colluded with the Clinton campaign against Sanders. Also some of the damning Podesta emails were ignored.
