Three Generals in Trumps high level staff and Cabinet. Anyone worried?
With three general officers in top admin posts named so far, is anyone concerned that the military is getting too munch power in the civilian arena?
I know the Eisenhower had to step down as a 5 star general when he was elected president but 5 stars carry a different responsibility and have different rules the main one being they never retire they just keep going.
These general have all retired after years of service to the country. All have great credentials for the positions they have been nominated for. I don't dsee an issue here. They will take the oath of office and have clearly demonstrated the capability and capacity to uphold that oath on multiple occasions.
Me? I'm not worried, I'm proud that men like these are willomg tp gp through the confirmation process and continue to serve their country..

The appointments are a bit concerning but the president and the secretary of defense will be civilian. Plus the military has been regimented to be loyal to the state and not the generals. Of course, its to be seen what kind of president Trump will be. I feel fearful he will ultimately be ineffectually and a weak president, but that is to be seen.
My Senator is Chuck Schummer and I would not trust him to care for my dog but he is the leader of the dumbocrats.
hehehe...
Perhaps its Trump hiring people with less hidden agendas who have less to prove and more to offer than executives at Goldman Sachs.
