Those who try to 'read' into Trump's behavior and that he might actually do something that derails the socialist movement miss his actions. He is a Marxist when it protects his business and a capitalist when it makes him money. He is already signaling where he will go and those who think he is different are making excuses for him and projecting 'wait until he is president' to see who he is. He might pretend to untie Gordian Knot but he will be adding new layers. If you expect him to simply cut it as did Alexander the Great you will be disappointed.

Trump is the president elect. He's the one that did everything no one else could. Now those "no can do" are still trying to second guess Trump with doom and gloom. Guess what, America's best days are still ahead.

Trump is not John Galt, but he isnt worse or equal to crooked Hillary by any stretch. He will give us a few years of slowing of the socialist agenda, but in the end socialism will take over this country unless education of the populace in libertarian ideas really takes hold.

A person pushing for low taxes has the right idea. If the working class can learn that freedom is good for everyone, we may dodge the handout-communist progressives for a while.

Me dino has a couple of other handguns each of a different caliber and there are two heavy bandoliers stuffed with shotgun shells for my pump action.

Please buy more ammo when you can. Making bullets hard to get is one of the ways that the Liberals/Communists can implement gun control.

As a student of Eric Hoffer, I'll be watching to see if the Trumpists expect a mass movement that religiously follows the great leader's next pronouncement. Parsing his recent statements, I get the distinct impression that Trump is putting on his project manager shoes, and has put his showman's jacket temporarily in the closet, which is a good thing. He is results-focused, rather than intent-focused, which is also good. I'm in favor of waiting for the next chapter before getting my britches in a wad.

Just joking there with that "patriotic duty" quip? Patriots do not live by duty but with freedom of choice. Those who attempt to show patriotism are not patriots, just collectivists trying to look good.

And given some of his statements during the elections, they were fairly noted that Trump felt that he should have the same power as Obama with his "phone and pen". To me, that is a dangerous precedent either way as it violates the separation of powers.

Unless Mr. Trump decides to pull an Obama and Executive Order us to death, he will have to get everything through Congress.

At this point, I still feel a lot safer with our Republican led Congress than having it be led by a bunch of cry babies who hold sit-ins whenever things don't go their way.

In the end, however, I'll just live with the results...just like I would have, had Her Royal Pain won the election.

I can think of no other mortal man up to this fight but a fight it will be and now is not the time for any of us to sit back with a shit eating grin. DJT is in the process of lacing up the gloves as we speak but he can't do it on his own. If you know how to go back many moons here you will see that I said long before Trump ever made the decision to run that he would win. I got laughed off this discussion by many but in my heart I knew Ayn would have been with me on this one. We must start somewhere but we must continue to fight.

There is a basic problem when one tries to compare any regime to any other. In the realm of rhetoric, they all start sounding alike. Hitler and Stalin are prime examples. The difference between what they said and how they acted is always held as an example. If you hear these certain words and catch phrases you are bound to get a dictator. If they sound too good, you must not trust them. However, there is the possibility that Trump really means what he says. That he has enough strength of character to actually follow through without getting caught up in the desire for greater power. No matter what the pundits say, it's still way early to tell. The guy hasn't even been sworn in yet. If he's sincere, look for many adjustments in staff during the first year as he tests his choices, and we'll learn the direction of his term.

We really have no choice at this point unless Trump's victory is actually overthrown by the will of the fascists before Jan. 20th.
