Democrats Have Ways to Check Trump (Prayer Is Just One)
Yes the Democrats have ways of stopping the Republican (read Trump) agenda. They jokingly referred to Prayer as one. I'm not sure there is a Dem left in the Senate that knows how to do it or even who to pray to.
That aside, many of the options mentioned could be politican suicide. Remember they hav 23 senators up for re-election in 2018. being obstructionist is a way to make sure they don't have that problem to worry aabout in later years.
Sen Schumer is not dumb but he is a politician and politicians generally know when to go along and when to dig in. I don't expect huge figts until after the 2018 election. Then the fights will really begin.
