Liberals showing their true colors?

Let me first say that all Americans are entitled to free speech and the right to peacefully assemble. That being said, the events of the last two nights prove to me that the left is showing their true colors by abusing these two sacred rights to cause trouble and attempt to change the outcome of an election through intimidation and blatant force. They are, IMHO, attempting to get the Electors to vote for Hillary R. Clinton through the use of street violence and force in cities across the nation. All of which are sponsored and coordinated by MoveOn.org (it is rumored).
There have been protests about election in the past but very few and none as potentially violent as those of the last two nights.
The inability or unwillingness of the left to accept the election as legitimate and calls for its invalidation fly in the face of over two centuries of tradition. If you don't like the results, do what the Republicans did. Work to get anorganization in place that can deliver the voters (legitimately) to the polls and vote for your candidate. Don't try to change the election results via force and violence in the streets.

I would not jump to conclusions. There was a lot of thunder on the right ahead of the election. We don't know what did not happen because it did not happen. But I heard a lot of rumbling...

I do agree that the angst and Weltschmerz is typical of the young left. Time off from school to deal with the shock... Mostly, Americans always used to be resilient. We did not collapse in dispair for 9/11, or the King and Kennedy assassinations, or much else. The Greatest Generation took the Stock Market Crash, the Great Depression, and World War II in stride without a lot of hand-wringing.

I agree, also, that if this was not just all orchestrated for our amusement in Davos eight years ago, then the upset is much like the famous Truman-Dewey turnaround.

Certain that Dewey would win, my grandparents did not vote. They never made that mistake again.

Former Secretay Clinton led by double digits and was 90% likely to win by all accounts. That, and the erosion of her base, spelled her doom.

Also, I did find it interesting that the Greens did so poorly. The Libertarians were pretty much close to 5% all up and
    down all of the ballots.

Was not ignoring the right. It is just the right has been painted as radical and reactionary for so long and the left was given a pass. Now it is interesting to see the left acting like the right is supposed to and the right acting like the left is claimed to act. The counterpoint of it all is amusing or would be if people weren't being hurt and property damaged.
