Amazing 30%
I guess it is time to acknowledge a fact for some of us here in the Culch. We are uneducated and can barely put a coherent sentence together. Why else would 7 of thelst 20 posts be downgraded to 0. It can't be because the offend someones political views. that would never be the case here in the Gulch.
As I said, it must be because the posts are so bad that the do not merit a rating above 0.
Perhaps we should just be silent on topics that interest us and may or may not offend others here.
NOT. I encourage all members of the Gulch to continue to freely post therir thought and ideas without regard to the "Mad Downgrader". I fully expect my posts as well as UglyOld Carl and the others who receive the downgrade for absolutely no reason to continue to post himent as they will. Him and comm

I have not down voted careless and illiterate posts.
I understand why some would do so-
- Carelessness shows indifference to the reader, a form of rudeness.
- Illiteracy makes the post hard to read and the reader cannot forward it on when the content has merit.
The freedom to be rude goes with the freedom to downvote.
So, a request to those who it may concern-
your enthusiasm is acknowledged, but please review contributions to check they are written in English, and that what is written is what you meant, before pressing enter.

I've had a few and contributed to many others...I laugh it off now.
