Yep, they're all just other chemical names for water. But the left can't pursue their political agenda if they don't scare people.

Or hydroxic acid. Those names are bound to scare low-information voters if they are presented with the right amount of scary rhetoric and furrowed brows.

Oh man, i am going downhill fast, however, my chiropractor says you only get old when you want to, as we were discussing why you see 65 yo people moving like glaciers, and I am 6 years out from that berth. I have an uncle who is 80+ who is Chief Engineer of a casino in Biloxi..so, maybe it is just work..

Well, on the serious side, the whole CO2 issue is so pervasive, that, if it is really an issue, we are probably toast. With the idea of trees not being able to recycle beyond their "limit", and everything (just about) producing it as a by product, it is time for some serious science to find a way to either pull it and store it, or convert it into carbon/oxygen. I cannot believe this is beyond smart inventors. I also wonder why there isn't a label for how much CO2 a device emits, so you can buy with that as a criteria for those who would. Of course I would need to be convinced it IS the problem, and that, if nothing changes we go bye bye, and they have not done that yet.

What will they do with them once they collect them? Will there be cow fart dens where people can gather and breathe up the methane to prevent its escape into the atmosphere? Will it be placed in ground contaminating the earth to be accidentally released at some future point? Perhaps we should make the cows breathe them in??

So, the quantity of non-working Americans (plus non-working non-Americans) is approaching that of the cows. Their weight is also approaching equivalency... I'm getting into the gas bag business!!!

Wouldn't "hydrogen hydroxide" be a better name? More confusing. Sounds dangerous.

They make sure that fuel is completely burned and that less nitrogen oxides are produce. Just produce more CO2 and water vapor and end in less smog.

Methane is the primary component of natural gas, which is already a motor fuel. Methane's chemical formula is CH4, which is the simplest of hydrocarbons. If you react (burn) methane with oxygen, you get water and carbon dioxide. So observe how completely the enviro-alarmists can dominate the debate: we're supposed to scared of any "pollutant" that they trot out that has a scientific sounding name. Methane is bad, but so is the product of its combustion, carbon dioxide. Anything you can use to instill guilt and fear in your ignorant subjects ends up giving you more power if you make noises sounding like you can solve the problems.

Enviroweenies will talk about the wonders of the "Hydrogen economy" until some wag points out that the product of Hydrogen combustion is dihydrogen monoxide, which is also a "greenhouse gas".

I can just see the face and arms of the liberal tree huger that attempts to put on a feral cat. :)
