For those of you here who know about the Tail of the Dragon, it was featured on The History Channel's Only In America tonight. My friend Ron Johnson took Larry the Cable Guy on the ride of his life down that very dangerous road.

If you missed it, History Channel will probably repeat it later tonight and through the weekend.

So you caught the repeat. It was fun to see him there. They had Killboy in that segment too, the main biker from the Deals Gap bar and grill who made the hot dog bet. He was the guy taking pictures.

School already. Seems like time flies by when you get a little break. I am looking for a ship, because the boat in front of the restaurant isn't going anywhere :-) Got my pirate flag.. Larry the Cable Guy is getting ready to ride down the Tail of the Dragon, right now, on the History Channel :)

Busy...back to school today. In three months is when I'll be really busy :( we're like ships in the night...or boats in front of a restaurant.

I have a lot of fun and enjoy conversing with like minded customers that wonder why my decorative boat is named "Dannesjkold."

That is too cool... and a great article. I would hope that people will find your book in the search of this ride through the Tail of the Dragon.....

I've been wanting to tell you that I had a Vietnam Vet Biker in the restaurant a few weeks ago and said he had traveled through Tennessee... so of course, I had to ask him if he drove through the Tail of the Dragon... he said, yes, and if you ever go there, you have to go to the Tree of Shame...Lol !! We had a great conversation and I told him I learned about it through your book.. and to top it all off, another table paid for this gentleman's meal ( because he was a Vietnam Vet). And your Don't Tread on Me Pirate Flag is still flying under my American Flag out front :-)
