The other day I used a descriptive phrase mogoloid idiot. As long as offensive words liek Jerk were being used and quite obviously without the definitions being known I thought why not." Mongoloid Idiot if nothing will be an eye catcher and a magnet. is it offensie to the mythical 'some' read on and see.?
I had for some reason assumed the term I used was anthropological in origin. I was half right and in anthropology all adding an -oid to the end means is a way of identifying the presumed archetypical origins of diffent segments of the human species. It's an ethnic background identier. Others and still in use are Caucasoid (Caucasian mountain area Negroid, Congoid, Nand Mt. Caucasus.) Australoid and Capoid. Africa is not used as it encompasses to many of these groups and subgroups. But Alpine meaning features is used. There are sub divisions for example

and further down Germanic and Latin one went North and the other stayed arouond the Mediterranean.
