The Sneaky Way Pelosillyni is Helping Hillary Raise Taxes On the Middle Class in Exchange for a Tax CUT?

Hillary's previous announcement of Tax Enhancements didn't include a full explanation of VAT her 'Butt It's Fair" Buddies proposal dating back to 2009. that would be Benita Pelosillyni. I found one mention of an amount and no mention that it couldn't be changed nor that it would replace anything and many mentioned it would be used to handle the Obama Debt Increases in addition to our current taxes.

Hillary says she will empower the Middle Class by cutting their income tax. (Hey Dummy that's what debt repudiation via inflation and devaluation already took care of quite nicely.)

But that's what her right hand is saying her left hand and the other side of her mouth is looking at Enhancing taxes. which means raising the amount and broadening the group that pays. VAT or Value Added Tax which it isn't as it adds zero value to any goods or services is slated at or about 12% at each step of the way from raw material to the finished product.

Think of how much of each item you buy already has that in the form of multiple embedded taxes commonly called business overhead among them business taxes. We'll get back to all this in comments

Now ADD 12 % each and every step of the way. NOT an end user consumption tax which has no embedded taxes but in addition to. Here's the opening shot fired by Benita P. Pelosillyni. The 'P'? hey something causes those wierd statements. But it's a rough idea.

And hey she's got to pay for that FREE education somehow? There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Education even if it's Hillary's rake off.

Pelosi says new tax is 'on the table'

By Michael O'Brien

A new value-added tax (VAT) is "on the table" to help the U.S. address its fiscal liabilities, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday night.

Pelosi, appearing on PBS's "The Charlie Rose Show" asserted that "it's fair to look at" the VAT as part of an overhaul of the nation's tax code.

"I would say, Put everything on the table and subject it to the scrutiny that it deserves," Pelosi told Rose when asked if the VAT has any appeal to her.

The VAT is a tax on manufacturers at each stage of production on the amount of value an additional producer adds to a product.

Pelosi argued that the VAT would level the playing field between U.S. and foreign manufacturers, the latter of which do not have pension and healthcare costs included in the price of their goods because their governments provide those services, financed by similar taxes.

"They get a tax off of that and they use that money to pay the healthcare for their own workers," Pelosi said, using the example of auto manufacturers. "So their cars coming into our country don't have a healthcare component cost.

"Somewhere along the way, a value-added tax plays into this. Of course, we want to take down the healthcare cost, that's one part of it," the Speaker added. "But in the scheme of things, I think it's fair look at a value- added tax as well."

Pelosi said that any new taxes would come after the Congress finishes the healthcare debate consuming most lawmakers' time, and that it may come as part of a larger overhaul to the tax code.

The Speaker also emphasized that any reworking of the tax code would not result in an increase in taxes on middle-class Americans"

What it does is not addsa but subtracts value at a huge rate. Let's sayi an item costs $100 before sales tax. To Arrive at that all costs includiing the employees taxes which make up their wage packet as part of their salary are aqdded. Fuel taxes, etc. you name it.

Best I can find out it's one third or more of true retail the actual price not MSRP.

Now go back and follow me on this. Raw material costs of extraction add 12%, transport to the next step added the raw material is made into something useful lumber, plastic, gas,;diesel, metal shapesl, then transported to a finishing facility made into screws, hinges, mixed with additives like ethanol turned into grades of lubricant, and in another step becomes items used to make a kitchen table. and four chairs

Then wholesaler then retailer each of them x12%. $100 becomes $112 becomes $125,becomes $140 becomes $157 becomes $176 becomes $197 all the way to wholesaler and retailer. on top of what we're already paying in embedded taxes. and whoopsie maybe some side taxes along the way from city, state and local AND sales tax. Advertising costs for example? ObamaCare for example?

That's a rough description but you get the picture. Europe does this. Europe pays more taxes, But what is the economic state of Europe - or is it?

Keep this in mind as just one of the 'enhanced taxes' that will more than make up for any income tax cut IF that happens.

Just one of the replacements for cutting income tax on our beleaguered strangled buying power from the cruelest tax of all - inflation, devaluation, and debt repudiation on the retirees or those with unfunded retirement plans (that means you Mr. Military Professional.)

To introduce the differences Income Tax in ANY form and VAT in ANY Form and Corporate or company business taxes in ANY form are all with two purposes. Collect money from the consumer.

The first Income Tax is flat out Fascist in nature. It cut your paycheck that you worked for at the source. You have zero control like it or not.

The others attack you at the cash register BUT you have the choice on how to, on what, where, and when to spend your money. The consumer has the control except one caveat. The tax rate can be changed up or down.

End User Consumption Tax is a single tax that has two features. There is only one point of taxation so items and services from the food on your plate to the staff that cooked and served it are passing on nothing extra. No business tax, No Income Tax, No Value Subtracted tax the true name of VAT as it adds zero value and only increases the cost.

But even that one if voted in to replace Income Tax has two hazards. One is putting it in place at the same time as Income Tax is still valid. The other as before who controls the percentage

A third is how is that percentage divided between the local, State and Federal Government.

and a fourth What does it replace in the way of other taxes and fees.

Fifth for all of this is will it be enough on it's own to pay the Obama Debt of knocking on the Devil's Door of 20 trillion?

For sure we don't need any of the left wing versions or Enhanced Taxes of Hillary's

The rest I'll leave up to you. Basic Question? Should the Government have control or should the Citizen have control.

Finally ha ha gotcha...ALL of these assume spending will be decreased. You really think Hillary's going to do that starting with free college for safe spotters?

Ni modo.

Note that all of the articles I found valled for VAT in addition too embedded taxes and income taxes and are a pyramided tax. I do not favor any form of this as once in your stuck with both. I favor and end user one time consumption tax with no embedded taxes along the way especially the so called business tax which is either paid direct to the government as collected or added to the end user price and paid by them. Short Version corporaions pay zero taxes they only list them as overhead add to Cost of Doing Business and then add to the price structure.

the Pelosi annouoncement is in the main body up above but I may have set off an alarm as many of the previous links are gone....I'll keep trying

Since that link won't work since I used it this morning ha ha on me here's some extra explanation. and the third just the link for an in depth.

    Tax Foundation introduces VAT calculator

By Jay Heflin - 10/28/10 02:00 PM EDT

Several sources have told The Hill that adding a VAT to the current tax code is being discussed as one way of controlling the deficit. These sources say the VAT would likely be in addition to the taxes that are already paid.

"Any proposal to adopt a VAT is a political hot potato," said Tax Foundation senior economist Gerald Prante in prepared remarks. "Because U.S. fiscal problems are so serious, enacting a VAT without other tax-and-spending reforms could not close the deficit unless the VAT rate was quite high. The potential impact of such a tax is enormous, and Americans can get a sense of it in just a few minutes with the Tax Foundation's new VAT calculator."

Many industrialized countries use VATs, and the rates in OECD countries range from 5 to 25 percent. The economic crisis in the European Union has prompted some countries there to raise their VAT rates. Currently, EU members are required to impose a VAT of at least 15 percent, according to the Tax Foundation.

(did not connect to any calculator.)

VAT would have huge affect on personal spending, survey finds

By Jay Heflin - 08/26/10 02:15 PM EDT

"These numbers are clear evidence of what common sense would tell even the most casual observer: If you tax spending at a time when the economy is still struggling to recover, consumers are going to spend less," said NRF president and CEO Matthew Shay in prepared remarks. "With consumer spending representing two-thirds of the economy, a consumption tax, by VAT or any other name, is not the path to recovery or a prudent way to address the federal deficit."

VATs are essentially surcharges added to an item during production, i.e. when value is added to it. For example, timber cut to make toys for children would incur a VAT, when the toys are painted they would receive another VAT and when they are boxed and shipped to the store another VAT would be levied.

These taxes are paid by the companies but normally become a part of the cost of goods sold that is passed on to customers and can be deemed a consumption tax.

With consumer spending already at record lows, which is hurting recovery efforts, the survey suggests a VAT would drive more buyers from stores.

The survey found 83 percent of consumers would cut back on eating out if a VAT were enacted; 80 percent would reduce clothing and accessories allowances; 74 percent would buy less at the grocery store; 72 percent would pare back on entertainment; and 72 percent would rethink vacation travel.

"Additionally, half said a VAT would influence their spending on a home while two-thirds said it would impact automobile purchases," states a NRF release on the survey. "Big ticket items wouldn't be the only casualties as 59 percent of consumers said they would even cut back on prescription and over-the-counter medicine."

Lawmakers are supposedly looking at creating a VAT to reduce the federal deficit, but 82 percent of survey respondents believe Congress should reduce spending instead. Only 10 percent favored the creation of a VAT or other form of federal sales tax to reduce the deficit, and only 8 percent favored an income tax increase.

The just-released survey was conducted by BIGresearch for NRF and tapped the opinions of 5,079 consumers between April 12 and 15.

    Value-Added Taxes: A Primer
    By Catherine Rampell April 19, 2010 1:38 pm April 19, 2010 1:38 pm

In recent weeks there has been lots of buzz — much of it preemptively negative — about value-added taxes. This post presents a short primer to help you get up to speed if you’re unfamiliar with this policy tool.

i made thiis a very rough example as there are a lot of components and peces to the Pelosillyni Puzzle. but the inflation, devaluation, and repudiation part has already cut our buyinig power by roughly 30%.

Main point there's more than one way skin and tax and they've got you by the tail.

Still want to vote for Hillary or Against her opponent? Not like tthere is alot of choices. Three left wing and one unknown. but on balance you wanted an outsider you got an outsider. Pick one... it's all the choice you have...except None Of The Above like 46%-50% have already done.

Which means look at the question differently for example. Trump Vote is not a pro Republican vote knock on formica. His tendency is probably away from a Socialist Autocracy and more for a Constitutional Republic.

With Hillary you get ......the other choice up close and personal.
