Perseid meteor shower

The Perseid meteor shower this year is expected to be spectacular due to Jupiter pulling the ancient comets tail debris closer to the Earths path. The comet Swift-Tuttle circles the sun every 133 years it was first chronicled in 36 AD.
The best viewing will be after midnight into dawn Friday morn.

    I'm currently on my way up to Alaska... hoping to catch a glimpse of it tonight/tomorrow.

      When away from the city lights the stars fill the night sky. I hope you have clear skies as it is overcast here no viewing tonight I'm hopping tomorrow will allow for better sky gazing.
