I guess it is time to boycott Time Warner products and services until they wake up and figure out holidays have more meaning than just a day off mandated by their political masters.

    It would also offend the big spenders who presume to be our more than equal elite betters. They would pass a law against it and continue to run up the debt..
    An El Presidente Holay Clintonista would never veto that controlling measure or support the First Amendment either.

    20 years in the Navy, 10 as a duty chief on submarines (responsible for making things like flags go up and down on time) and maybe I just never had duty on a Memorial day, but I didn't know either, and had to look it up after Michael pointed it out. So, yes, you are correct.

    Thank you, the 2:30 item makes sense, however, I would suggest that whoever was supervising him should have been mature and smart enough to say :"Uh, according to the flag code, it is only until noon, please go out there and raise it, thanks." Companies today have the management and leadership skills of Attila the Hun. I am still not liking Time Warner.

    it is unfortunate that the highest levels of our government employees in the military such as the supposed commander in chief (a joke to even think it) do not support our troops anyway. so the largest of companies fall into line. horrible situation we are living with.

    Anymore and as opposed to the PC crap treatment I'd give that guy a bonus and raise and find a Mexican flag to be more honorable than the incorrect spit in your face desires of the left. Not lowering to half mast is typical of a country that has no pride, no honor, no integrity, no values, and no idea how to read a moral compass. Those who objected and had him fired should be whipped out of the country and denied re-entry.

    So what was wrong with what he did? It was by the book and perfectly executed If honoring the dead is now and anti PC gesture then the left should bark at the moon. If the owner/operators of that facility objected to proper protocol why aren't they being harassed and fired? Looks to me like more proof that GD civilians are not fit to run the country.

    Lowering the flag to half mast on MEMORIAL DAY is appropriate.
    In view of current events in general, I don't have a problem with anyone lowering the USA flag to half mast on each and every national holiday.
    In fact, Old Dino hereby wishes to opine that everyone should fly the flag at half mast every freaking day when the already inexcusable national debt hits $20 trillion.

    I lowered ours at CT Hospice...no one said a word and two guys stood with hands on their hearts to boot while I was doing it...my eyes kinda got glassy at seeing that...not everyone is dead inside.

    Political correctness is one of the most stupid things in our society at the moment. Everyone (except Trump perhaps) seems to care more about what other people think about things than what THEY think about them.

    I have no issue with this guy doing what he did. If they dont like individuals expressing their own thoughts, they should make a flag raising robot and let IT do the flag displaying
