does anyone agree with me that the push for Trump
is not only an expression of anger, but also revenge? -- j

Why am I thinking of "an evil hag or a used car dealer?"
Funny, a grammatically correct "an used car dealer" doesn't look or sound right somehow.

I would say you are disgusted with the whole political system now. I agree with you. The reason I am voting for Trump is exactly BECAUSE the crony establishment hates him so much. He must be a threat to them, and thats a good thing. Its time all this comes to light and the voters get a chance to SEE whats going on.

Trump is not perfect, but he is the best of the electable bunch. I do hope he makes it and NOT Hillary.

We dont want revenge, we want the lying, cronyism, and the manipulation of the masses by the elite people in power to STOP. Plain and simple.

Its the establishment that is trying anything it can to keep the anti-establishment candidates from getting elected, and that applies to Trump AND Sanders.

Hillary IS the poster child for the dishonest politicians who manipulate us into thinking that "she is fighting for us". Thats totally a lie. She fights for HERSELF and her cronies only.

When you consider that we've elected a massive number of "tea party" representatives, who were supposed to stop Obama, and who did NOTHING for years, the only options left are to stay home and sulk, or go with someone who MIGHT do something that we want, at least a little bit. It's take the "progressives" over a century to get us to this point. It will probably take at least two centuries to restore the republic, because they'll be fighting tooth and nail every step of the way. Plan on four centuries. We're seeing the effects of compromise with evil that AR talked about. It's ugly.

Yes, it is. Revenge of the non-connected against the well-connected.

Stupid is the key word for voters. We have put up with the cronyism for so long that we are getting what we deserve for candidates, 2 losers, well 3 if you include Johnson. A bombastic reality star and businessman, a verified, chronic liar and national security scofflaw, and then a total flake who is fiscally conservative but socially liberal and has trouble figuring out to pay for one without screwing up the other. I know he was not a total screw up in New Mexico but he opened the door to be replaced by the criminal Richardson. New Mexico seems to swing one way or the other to extremes, flaky Republican, criminal Democrat, flaky Republican for Governor but is solidly Democrat in State Government, both Senators and 2 of the 3 Representatives. Anyway, we deserve what we get and just note that The Donald has received more popular votes than anyone, so me thinks there is some angst there.

I wouldn't disagree, but revenge is ultimately a stupid motive for doing anything. If one allows their decision-making to be a product of rage and revenge, they see only the end of destruction - not production.

"the lady or the tiger?" . could you give me another
    clue about that reference?

I look at him as being what we deserve for being so outrageously stupid. He could be hiding any belief by just saying clichés that pander to the most ignorant common denominator while not revealing anything about his intentions if he is elected. I plan on voting for him because I would rather select what is behind the closed door than live with more of the same. It is kind of "the lady or the tiger" but with a different twist.

Oh Yes. Thats straight up and plain to see.

"Many seeing no other hope being offered no other future have picked him to be the deystroyer. Won't they be surprised if he remakes the situation into one of His own devising and liking"

    "That would be?"

    "In His own image.""

"and what of those on the losing side."

    "the who?"

"them the one's who lost power?"

":oh them I had quite forgot. Why? Are they important again for some reason?"

"Not really but after all they are...yes....I see your point I'll not forget you asked."

"Those that do are doomed to repeat..."

    "Second grade at least..."

":Besides we have a new opponent much more worthy of our skills."

    "Who?"

    "Him."
