The movie was great. Atlas part two, unlike part one, is very competitive with any big budget movie in quality, continuity, pace and surpasses them in content.

Totally agree. Competitive movie and sincerely a compliment to the book. I am proud to say I saw it opening night in San Francisco.
The 20-something who took our tickets tried to dampen our enthusiasm by saying, "you guys are 20 years younger than most of the other people seeing this movie". Good one!!
(I guess being called young is now some sort of insult.)
However all ages were represented, and being in San Francisco we were just happy that the Occupy-ers didn't poop on our car.
    Thanks fellow Shruggers!!

Oh good, some people in Hollywood still believe in freedom and are not afraid to make a movie, against the liberal regime.

I will see it again, perhaps several times. Will buy the DVD when available. That is to say I loved the movie. There were several places that I was left wanting....having read the book it would have to be a 4 hour movie to put it all in. I would be willing to pay double or triple the standard movie rates to see a longer version. Just my opinion.

I went to a afternoon session and the crowd was 70% retired people that were 65+ and all politically very conservative.

I agree with you. And I especially agree with your suggestion/directive to GO!

Where did you see it? What were the impressions of those who attended with you?
