The post production of ASP3 is well underway; however, there’s one last chance for you to be in the film and be part of Atlas Shrugged history. Post a video of you asking “Who is John Galt?” and declaring “I Am John Galt” by May 2nd and you just might find yourself on the silver screen come September 12th.

Here’s what you need to do:

1.) DOWNLOAD THE RELEASE FORM
Go to http://bit.ly/1l87a01, download the release form, print it, and sign it.

2.) CREATE YOUR VIDEO
Create a video of you saying: “Who is John Galt?” and “I Am John Galt.”

Video Direction:
- Look slightly away from the camera and say “Who is John Galt?” as if it were part of normal everyday conversation. We'll be using this part of your video to establish early in the movie that the phrase is used in everyday conversation as it is in the book.
- Wait a moment, look directly into the camera and say with pride and purpose (no smiling), “I am John Galt.” We'll be using this part of your video to illustrate the public's reaction to the Galt speech.
- Wait a final moment and then say, "Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt? in theaters September 12th, 2014."

NOTE: Videos delivered in languages other than English will be given special consideration. Each language video should be submitted separately. You may submit videos in as many languages as you like.

3.) UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO TO YOUTUBE.COM
If you don’t already have a YouTube account, create one and upload your video.

4.) TITLE YOUR VIDEO
Your video should be titled as follows: I am John Galt: (Your Name Here) #JohnGalt2014
EXAMPLE: I am John Galt: Scott DeSapio #JohnGalt2014

5.) EMAIL US YOUR RELEASE FORM AND LINK TO YOUR VIDEO
Send a copy of your signed release form and the link to your YouTube video to mailto:iamjohngalt@atlasshruggedmovie.com.

6.) EXTRA CREDIT: SHARE YOUR VIDEO (Optional)
Share your video on facebook and twitter using hashtag #JohnGalt2014

7.) BONUS: SHARE YOUR VIDEO IN GALT’S GULCH (Optional)
Share the link to your YouTube video in Galt’s Gulch Online and you might just be featured on the movie’s official Facebook and Twitter pages.

If you don’t have a Galt’s Gulch Online account, you can create one here: https://galtsgulchonline.appspot.com/acc....

Remember, for consideration for movie inclusion, submissions need to be turned in by Friday, May 2nd. We will however continue to accept submissions for the DVD until Sunday, August 31st.

Lights. Camera. Action!

IMPORTANT: Nothing related to Atlas Shrugged or Ayn Rand should be visible in the video.

For the videos to be included on the DVD, do you really want the September 12th line included? By then, that date will be long past.

So the ones going on the DVDs/Blurays will be exactly the same content as the ones you are soliciting for the movie. No differences?

No. There will be differences. We will be editing the videos as needed. Your job is simply to create the video as detailed in the instructions above.

Then if I create a video according to the above instructions, it won't necessarily be good for the fan DVD/Bluray video?
            Should I just hold off?
When will you announce about making the video for the DVD/Bluray?

RE: "if I create a video according to the above instructions, it won't necessarily be good for the fan DVD/Bluray video?"
That is incorrect. As long as you follow the instructions above, you're video will be considered for the DVD.

RE: "Should I just hold off"
              No.

RE: "When will you announce about making the video for the DVD/Bluray?"
We will be repeatedly reminding people about the video until August 31st.

Once again, you are giving everyone a short deadline. I posted a request asking you to give me plenty of advance notice as to what you wanted in those videos. But you never responded and now you are doing it again.
My video didn't get included on the ASII video. Now it looks like it won't get included on the ASIII video if I don't hurry to get this don't.
    Thanks a lot.

In the description above: "... for consideration for movie inclusion, submissions need to be turned in by Friday, May 2nd. We will however continue to accept submissions for the DVD until Sunday, August 31st."

The deadline for the film is Friday - 3 days away. The deadline for the DVD is 4 months away. You can make it Fred.

Could you give some context clues for where it would be included in the movie? I'm going to submit an entry, but I want to make it count.

Scott: Yes, I've got to echo lookdad's question. Is this going to be in the movie proper? If so, where? Or is this going to just be something attached at the end of the movie.

Yes. The videos will be used in the film as part of the story.

        RE: "If so, where?"
        Not telling.

RE: "is this going to just be something attached at the end of the movie"
No. We may however also use them at the end of the film.

I should submit a video just to annoy everyone.

    "But, it's a good video"

"Yeah, but *he* submitted it, so we can't use it. Might as well get Cliven Bundy to make a video..."
