Beyond Natural Science
Good news/bad news,exciting/disturbing...what will the compartmentalized brain only scientist, the kakistocracy do with all of this...after all, they have no conscience and are only concerned about their own survival, not yours, they have no mutuality with you.
Is there enough "Conscious Human" scientists in these fields to keep it honest and in control? Are there enough of "us" in influential positions to keep to the good?
Among the good and bad stuff, tucked in-between is the means to hide our Gulch, to extend our lives without becoming humanoids. That's exciting!
But make no mistake here, this is a fight for survival...ours verses theirs and yes, this dichotomy does exist, you see play out everyday.
However you view this...it is always prudent to be objective and aware of such things...wouldn't you agree?

The nanotechnology being developed hopefully will also contain some element of good and maybe just maybe will attack the evil that seems rampant.
One can imagine the monster attacking the evil controller , like Frankenstein
attacking Dr Frankenstein.
