Another Climate Alarmist Admits Real Motive Behind Warming Scare

I think a lot of us believe that the whole Global Warming thing is a scam. IBD seems to have come to that conclusion, and their logic matches some of what I have heard here in the Gulch. Nothing new, but it validates the idea of not buying into something that does not operate on a tainted data base.

    A few more:

” Childbearing should be a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license. All potential parents should be required to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing.”
David Brower, First Executive Director of the Sierra Club

“Complex technology of any sort is an assault on human dignity. It would be little short of disastrous for us to discover a source of clean, cheap, abundant energy…”
    Amory Lovins, ‘Rocky Mountain Institute’

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill.”

Anthropogenic climate change is ten percent science and ninety percent political opportunism. It is the rare politician that understands fundamental scientific principals but they all understand the use and advantage of power. AGW provides them with an ideal tool to serve these ends. Our education system has deteriorated to the extent that critical thinking is nearly extinct and is even considered to be antisocial. Belief has replaced understanding and appreciation of fundamental principals has been replaced by mantras. "This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but with a whimper."

"I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temp[erature]s to the data series...from 1981 onwards, and to 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline."

Speaking: Phil Jones, Director, Climatic Research Unit, University of East Anglia, Norwich, England, UK. For "Mike" read Michael Mann, then at the University of Virginia. For "Keith" read Keith Briffa, also at CRU-UEA--Phil Jones' junior colleague.

"We cannot show a warming trend, and it is a travesty that we can't." -- Kevin Trenberth, one of Phil Jones' professional associates (not necessarily at the same institution).

Those are the two most damning quotes I personally found when a UK correspondent sent me a link that let me track down the original Climate-gate Archive. It was I who, writing as "Essex County (New Jersey) Conservative Examiner," on 19 November 2009, moved the Climate-gate story out of the blogosphere (e.g., Anthony Watts' Watts Up With That) and into the realm of semi-professional journalism. Thirty-five thousand page views and a link-back in The Wall Street Journal later, my writing had made an impact: Phil Jones had a three-egg omelet on his face and had to take a leave of absence on the strength of it.

But my biggest proof this is a scam: those who perpetrate it, don't even believe it themselves. They do not live their beliefs. Why did the delegates to the Fifteenth Conference of Parties to the Framework Agreement on Climate Change (COP-15), held in December 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark, travel there in 140 private jet aircraft, and, once arrived, rent out every chauffeured limousine then available on the entire continent of Europe? If you believe in a thing like this, do you not take pains to restrict severely the travel by the delegate to, from, and at the venue? Do you not indeed select the travel centroid of the world, which is Lod (formally Lydda) Airport outside Tel Aviv, Israel, as your venue? Indeed, why even have a physical conference? Why not virtualize it, using Skype or OpenSim, the open-source engine for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games?

The 'Plot' was derived years ago in late 50's, a government report was leaked with this intel, published in 64' Amazon has book in PDF for about $4 since book is out of publish, VERY damning and a short read, this release back then put a halt to this, of course they waited till most of that generation died off, here they go again,I believe if this gets exposed well showing its been tried before and based on mind control it could be put back in the Rat Hole....

Well, in 2009, Al Gore had not perfected the internet yet, you know. But the amazing thing is, I was hust reading an article last night where the Justice Dept is busy chasing Exxon for criminal activity in "hiding climate change", and "not releasing the truth" and Exxon has gone bonkers revving up all their material to acknowledge climate change and all the good things they are doing to "curb it". There is so much BS from all the gangsters involved here, I am only believing what I can see and measure.. So far, all I see is natural variation, and agree it does seem we are losing a bit of ice here and there. Deal with it those idiots.

Like most other pious hypocrites, the climate change people aren't too bright. If wealth redistribution is really the goal, then it seems forcing crippling restrictions on the world's most potent economy is counterproductive. Driving the U.S. into poverty with skyrocketing energy costs doesn't leave much wealth to be redistributed. It simply increases the world poverty level to spread misery to all.

Reality is merciless. The world's energy supply today is 70% hydrocarbon, 20% nuclear, 7% hydroelectric, and 3% solar/wind/geothermal. If I want to increase the percentage of supply from renewables rapidly, then my only choice is to expend the supply I have the most of, which is hydrocarbon, until the renewables start to become a more significant contributor. Restricting the use of hydrocarbon fuel means the growth in renewables will be likewise restricted. There are no magic wands to refute facts, or as Ayn Rand would say, "A is STILL A."

Re your first paragraph: that is their goal. From Galt's speech, "They do not want to own your fortune, they want you to lose it; they do not want to succeed, they want you to fail; they do not want to live, they want you to die; they desire nothing, they hate existence, and they keep running, each trying not to learn that the object of his hatred is himself."

"Like most other pious hypocrites, the climate change people aren't too bright." Reminds me of achieving the goal of less expensive medical care via Obamacare by placing a tax on medical equipment and devices. The real global warming is caused by people's brains overheating trying to reconcile such contradictions.

Another brain warming nagging thought: If the taxpayer funded multi-billion dollar weather service can't accurately predict the weather next week, how in hell are they forecasting for the next century? I figure it must have something to do with planetary alignments in an assortment of constellations.

Yeah, I'm late to this conversation, but this is my 2 cents.

The climate alarmists do not even know that which they protest against. There is not, nor has there ever been (as far as I know) a government that allowed Capitalism. The system they actually are protesting against is a modern form of rule by the entitled - the kings, dukes, earls, etc. of today do not have fancy titles, but they rule in the same way. Rand referred to it as an 'Aristocracy of Pull' - a perfect descriptor in my opinion.

I'm always flummoxed by the vast number of people who will believe something as if their life depended on it without any real evidence at all.

The UN Ha long declared capitalism unsustainable, which means it stops them from the control they seek over all. They now include other thing in the unsustainable category, claiming it is to save the environment - such things as red meat, A/C, refrigeration, living in rural areas, reproducing without their permission, private ownership of p roperty is a big target for them. All these things let us be free and able to pursue capitalism. Instead of teaching our youth how it works, they teach them to hate capitalism, when they should teach other countries how it works. It is all about power and profit for a handful of elite worldwide. Hillary and Obama have both promised the UN they would support implementation of UN Agenda 21 in the US. Years ago, Hillary as First Lady, visited communes in the northwest US, raving how that was they way to go. Move all to the city, into communes or high rises. It is obviously easier to control them. All this was promoted as a way to save the environment. If they really cared about pollution, why let China pollute, same atmosphere. It they worried about climate, why heat the ionesphere using HAARP in Alaska and Puerto Rico. Why use HAMP to practice moving hurricanes? //Because none of it is about environment, just about control of people. They play with weather control, but worry about cow gas? Really, do they honestly think we are this stupid. They are hoping.

Exactly, they pander to China, because if they piss off China, China just vetoes whatever they don't want. Shanghai is a friggin embarrassment and they claim that they, who as poor China, abused by the evil white man and taken advantage of, is owed their own share of crapping the planet up. All BS. Mexico is no better, companies move their factories there and pollute the crap out of it, and they had to declare an emergency yesterday.

I lived for a time in El Paso, it was lovely. When we visited there over the years it was still nice. However, when the factories started moving across the border and the drug industry grew, I would no long want to live there. The last visit a few years ago, it was so dirty and polluted, it was as if no one cared. I am not talking environmentalist talk, I am talking factories owners who were just irresponsible, and drug lords who cared only for their own profit. The era of no self-responsibility reigns, form the owners and pushers, to those who buy their product.

That is the problem, it is an issue of personal and corporate responsibility, and the fact we have a whole generation of talking heads who do nothing, and when the eyes are turned away, do whatever they want. The fact Mexican government and US allow the drug problem and associated criminal efforts to go on, is just proof of their lack of accountability for what they should be doing. Mexico is still a third world nation emotionally and mentally. We are not a whole lot better, just prettier.

So true, and the media never tells the whole story. The mainstream never mention Agenda 21. All this primary fuss over Trumps wife, and Cruz's wife gets a pass. She was nominated by someone high up in the World Bank for the CFR. She favors having Canada, US and Mexico, from whence the drugs flow, joined without sovereignty. When Bush was pushing for that, the first inspection of trucks was not to be at the US border with Mexico, but in St Louis! The media never examines this, and gives Ms. Cruz a pass on her stand.

In a few threads the CFR keeps raising it's ugly head. Taken with all these other "secret" groups, the evidence for the explanation of the reason we have such a crappy crop of morons this year is it was intended to be that way, and to force the sheeple to have HillaryBeast as their Dear Leader, so they have 4 more years to work on their plan. That will elicit the usual "conspiracy theorist" labels, but no one has a better explanation for this weirdness, except it is intentional. I am open to other possibilities...

Having been in and out of this issue for a long time, and even at one time believing warming was real but that any solution was untenable, it should become clearer to us that the whole present day issue has more to do with a political power grab than anything.

The world has not warmed much, or has not warmed at all in the last 15 years. The extreme weather reports have increased exponentially. And yet, I recall Hurricane Andrew and Katrina before the whole climate change nonsense came into its current incarnation. Those were much worse.

Pollution is awful, let's not kid ourselves. But the global welfare state is not the answer to environmental woes. Property rights are. Extending property rights is the answer. Not deleting them.

If climate change means anything to me, it means political climate change. It means dark ages all over again. And we have to fight it to the fullest because that is our choice.

I think the whole return of Lemuria is also of great importance. Got Tin Foil?

Far more important than those faked pictures of ice sheets calving and not being replenished, all those 'shopped satellite images of the "allegedly" shrinking Greenland Ice Cap (and the totally bogus accounts of weather interactions due to the changed flow of the Atlantic)... is the need to refute it because of some evil mechanizations by some unnamed group of people.

And what about those bogus and conspiratorial news stories (supported by the secret enslavement cabal) fabricated about flooding and weird snow patterns - you know its all a scam to overthrow business. The snow - is all a lie. The drought in California - never happened. The tornadoes in the midwest, east coast, and now California - what, you believe those photos and people claiming to live there? Those 4.2 earthquakes in northwest Nevada are all a conspiratorial plot (and "they" are using mind control on all 116 people in Vya, Nevada, to make them believe there are earthquakes there, for some evil and unannounced plan...)...

You really don't believe you were snowed on... or there was a drought in California. Alll those mercury and spirit thermometers are all tied in together (via Lemurian Null-Radiation) to all show the same thing to enslave people, not to accurately show fact.

That certainly is a different spin on "objective" and "rational" than the one I believe. As well as a different read on what are facts in front of ones face. What I believe - is physical evidence. If the evidence says "A", then tellimg me the truth is the physical evidence is lying - for some conspiracy - is definitely NOT "A".

You think that CO2 causes earthquakes? Or that anything bad that happens must be proof of a specific scientific theory -- which didn't predict it?

Here's how science works: You have a theory. You test the theory (in the real world, not a computer), and if the results match what you predicted, you have evidence in favor of your theory. If it doesn't, your theory is wrong. You need to correct your theory, not call people names.

The Global warming theories are far more complex than the simplistic CO2 absorbs heat -- and they are wrong, they have consistently failed to predict subsequent events.

And, yes, the climate changes. All the time.

Yea...what he said. It is a hugely complex issue, that is far more than any one thing, and toss in a lot of mother nature on top. Yet, the CC Cabal will render it down to what they want it to be, a simple "if we only stopped...(fill in the bank) it would go away" and it will absolutely not. I would be more concerned about the deforestation of the Amazon, as well as the carbon emissions of various oxides, than CO2, and I am not a climate scientist. It is crappy science pandered by a bunch of self serving corrupt people both in science and politics, manipulating fear and a situation, rather than helping cope with it.

Of course it's complex. What drives me bonkers is how people either deny it out of hand, or try to say that emissions flat have NOTHING to do with it, neither of which are true. I truly don't think it's all caused by human activity, but to say it has no effect whatsoever is equally as wrong.

          I guess we'll see...

Either way short of a a complete nuclear all available devices detonated Nature is going to put a screw in the plans of any of it's subjects. Thinking or non-thinking. But your main point is correct. However the global warming scam has had more of it's share of confessed scientific fibbery and has little to show on the plus side except someone quoting and requoting someone else and much of it leading back to the likes of Al Gore and his secular 700 congregation of true righteous believers no matter how many facts get in the way.

Are their real problems yes, can they be solved? to some extent. But not by one country. How much of our pollutants comes across the pacific from China? Now they are switching from bicycles to automobiles and already lead the world in burning coal still building but in 2011 numbered 2, 500 and as for Chinese labor. Mongolia average annual was $20,000 US back then nearer $25,000 now.

In the world of pollution and the world of economics we are no longer number one.But damn aren't we pretty all green and everything...

Indeed, I don't think you are wrong here, in that I agree with your premise it is a complex, multi faceted issue. I do not think any of the screamers, or people seeking to control us, care a damn about the issue itself, just the leverage it provides.I posted another article about the AG's going after Exxon, which is clearly indicative of their power agenda.

Susanne, I do not doubt for one minute you have seen those issues. Nor that there is not some form of climate change in progress. The point is here, it is not simply because man has allowed too many cow farts, or spewed too much CO2 into the atmosphere. It is a huge combination of circumstances, and any one factor (such as CO2 levels) getting fixed, will not alter the change, or even the rate of change. For example, the great dustbowl of the 1930s had nothing to do with a huge shift in climate, rather it was crappy farming practices, which, when corrected, resolved the majority of problems. Yet if it happened today, the CC cabal would stop shipping fuel to all the Midwest in the name of "saving the planet" and damn the consequences or who they hurt. 2000 years ago there was a land bridge between England and the continent, they have found villages on the seabed proving it. So the oceans have risen at least 10-50 feet in the last 2000 years, and mans fire pits and villages could not have caused it. These are the facts that the CC cabal ignore, they focus on the last 100 years and declare it a disaster, and thus authorization to do whatever they want, take whatever they want, to "save us". All their theft will not bring rain back to California, when all you have is constant increasing demand, and no increase in supply, simple laws of supply and demand tell us that. They do not address the fact that the population of California has doubled or tripled in the last 30 years. They do not want to acknowledge the integral parts of deforestation and loss of the Amazon forest and its effect on global weather. That is why they have no credibility, it is a complex ecosystem, not just a "one fact causes all" scenario.

The whole theory is pure fiction of course. My primary objection is why the tree huggers and Obamanation have not put trade embargoes and penalties on the countries denuding the rainforests, as well as addressing that specific impact. Yet they want to tax us to death, and raise our electric rates to unfathomable levels, just to say they are doing something. They are the loon taking the controls of the plane from the pilot, thinking they know better because they once tried MS Flight Simulator in 1993. Idiots, pure and simple. Technological and scientific barbarians. Your point is valid, no matter what facts are ever presented, they get twisted and the sheeple lap them up.

I watch it as well usually with the sound off (most of the contributors are full of it) but I love to see the amazing archeological sites around the globe!

Thats it, Yonagoni. There is way too much angularity and regularity for it not to have been built. The fact it is below water, along with villages in the North Sea, and the Black Sea, show there have been ecological changes since man showed up, and they were not riding mopeds back then. The GW theory collapses in the face of claiming the last 150 years is the root of our destruction, although I am sure it has contributed to the issue, it was not, and can not be, the cause. I keep going back to the rainforest issue, since it puts lie to all their enviro crap, and shows it for what it is: a power grab.

California has had severe droughts in the past that have lasted for 300 years . Certainly man has an effect on the environment and climate. Deforestation , urban heat islands ,asphalt , even auto emissions . The biggest reason for climate change is the big fireball in the sky it is not controlled by a thermostat it has cycles. Those cycles impact the Earths magnetosphere .
In the past the Earth has been very warm and very cold in fact during the last ice age Canada was covered with 2 mile thick ice then the ice melted during dare I say global warming. That was long before Jed Clampett was shooting at some food and up from the ground came some bubbling crude.
While we have been losing ice in the northern hemisphere we have been gaining ice in the Antarctic.
I find the evidence of govt manipulation and the 19 Trillion in debt more threatening.
If you think that there isn't a conspiracy amongst the NWO crowd you should do a little homework.
Start with The Bilderberg Group ,The Bohemian Grove crowd The trilateral commission the council on foreign relations Jekyll island club the federal reserve for starters.

That is a whole nother subject. I am glad you mention it, because there seems to be a lot of commonality between the "evil consipracy theorists" who bashed it, and yet what they say they are out to do is pretty much what we are seeing today: 2 identical parties who seem to have the same agenda, corruption and allegience to some other entity that no one can identify, and seemingly total disregard for national sovriegnty, in addition to a shift to a marxist/socialist agenda (read: dictatorship of the state).

I realize most people question some of these sources, but I found this description of it's goals and methods to be rather disturbingly accurate to what we see. Maybe there is some truth to it.
