One of the times in Atlas Shrugged that you just have to laugh is when Dagny gets roped in by Thompson's lackeys to stand behind him as he makes one of his pronouncements about how all is well. Obama's speech when he declared that he had met the 7 million signups goal when only 858 K have signed up (Rand Corporation, as quoted by Michael Reagan below) just had that eerie, spooky deja vu feel to it.

‘I’ve had enough’: Glenn reacts to ‘one of the most agonizing speeches ever delivered’
In theory, the Obamacare enrollment period ended on Monday. In reality, anyone who claims to have attempted to sign up at some point in time will be granted a two-week extension. That didn’t stop President Obama, however, from calling his lackeys (aka the media) to the Rose Garden on Tuesday to celebrate the success of his signature healthcare law. On radio this morning, Glenn just about lost it as he reacted to “one of the most agonizing speeches ever delivered.”

The following comes from Michael Reagan.

Obama Declares Victory, but Only 858k Have Actually Paid ObamaCare Premiums; Obama Aides Credit BFFs Bradley Cooper, Zach G., and LeBron

President Obama declared victory for the ACA yesterday, touting new reports of 7 million signups for health insurance on the ObamaCare exchanges, reports the New York Times. But a secret study from the RAND Corporation casts serious doubt on the president's data. As reported by the Daily Mail, RAND estimates only 858,000 newly-insured Americans have actually paid their ObamaCare premiums. Newsmax reports that the GOP called Obama's figures the "ultimate April Fool’s Day joke."
