I had a chance to talk at length with a refugee from the USSR back in the 1970s. She told me the Communists paid the workers three weeks pay for every months work. You are right, "serf" is a better word, but the implications to our freedom is not much different. Banding together is needed, but how is it done in secret? The NSA has access to all these websites though I would be surprised if they were actively monitoring them . . . too much information out there. Of course, advances in technology will make this easier all the time.

I don't think there is any real danger of being arrested for disagreeing with "their" agenda (the FEMA camps can't hold 49% of the US population), but so many regulations are being created and implemented that it is already almost impossible to know about or comply with all of them.

Eventually, paying anyone but the government for health care will probably be criminalized. This will happen when private health insurance companies (already demonized for increases in premiums) have been driven out of business and paying a doctor or hospital out of your own pocket becomes a crime (Hillarycare will follow Obamacare if she is "elected" in 2016).

I think the term serf is more appropriate than slave. Individuals will not be bought or sold by anyone but they will enjoy less and less freedom as their individual rights (and subsequent freedom to act of their own volition) are violated and/or destroyed.

Reardon continued to work, but was Reardon's motive to "support the system" while it "festered" at an accelerated pace thanks to John Galt? I ask this because even though I don't live in the USA, I don't think continuing to live and work there (including complying with the regulations) means an individual "supports" the system. (I did not leave the USA in protest in 2000, but I'm glad to be where I am now.)

How would members of this website "band together" in secret...unless they founded their own real-life Galt's Gulch...or joined me in Argentina ;-)?
