I would appreciate your comments. What can you add or take away? What does this say to you. I began writing this some time ago. Now I choose to share it with the gulch. I would not say it is publish worthy, however it is what it is.

MAN
A mans reason and compassion are the knowledge and wisdom of his soul. Should either his knowledge or wisdom be disregarded, he will toss and drift, held at a standstill upon the sea of intellect.
His reason of knowledge, ruling alone, is a confining force. His compassion for humanity, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction.
His soul shall exalt his reason of knowledge to the height of his compassion for humanity, so it may sing. Directing his compassion for humanity with his reason for knowledge, that his passion may live in renewal of its own, rising daily, as does the tide.
May he sit in the light of all knowledge and wisdom, refresh his spirit through peace and serenity, that his soul may say in silence, God rest in reason.
When the storm comes upon the mighty sea of intellect, thunder and lightning rise to proclaim their majesty, his heart will say, God moves in passion.
He too should rest in reason, move in passion, he is but a ripple upon God's mighty ocean of wisdom and knowledge, a grain of sand upon the shore, chosen.

I need the spoon-fed simplified version. I didn't follow it.

reason is the justification of knowledge. It would go like this; the justification of knowledge. That is mans reason of knowledge.
To look deeper within life than what is, seen, told, heard, felt, believed.
A man's reason and compassion, are the knowledge and wisdom of his soul. Here I place the word soul as that which defines man. None gender. His reason "justification" of knowledge ruling alone, is a confining force. Knowledge without compassion or passion even, leaves one confined, no room for anything else. Compassion is sympathy with suffering. As we read the post in the gulch we express and suffer with humanity, our fellow gulches. I hope this helps you better understand. Thank you for taking the time to read it. ML
