I have close business associate that is working for a large industrial Chinese company that set up shop here. He is upper management and looking for a new job because he claims the company is poorly run and the Chinese solution is just to throw a lot of money at the problem, thinking it will solve the problem. He has traveled China extensively and finds this to be prevalent.Sound familiar?

If the comparison with S.Korea is valid then the situation may not be a disaster.
    (At least, long term)
    As the article says-
S.Korea was right wing authoritarian and corrupt. There was a crash, then recovery.
The development has been towards cleaner and smaller government as well as in productivity and sounder economics.

I was a little surprised our markets went up the last couple of days. The explanation I heard is that the financial markets were calmed by the weak sanctions from Obama. I am guessing some foreign money is coming in thinking Wall Street is more stable than Russia or China or any other markets. Surprise...Its not.
