"If you ask me to name the proudest distinction of Americans, I would choose ... the fact that they were the people who created the phrase 'to make money'. No other language or nation had ever used these words before; men had always thought of wealth as a static quantity -- to be seized, begged, inherited, shared, looted or obtained as a favor. Americans were the first to understand that wealth has to be created." - Ayn Rand

Some have certainly forgotten it. Especially those that think it appears magically on their table without effort of any kind - other than looting.

But wealth is only that money not used by current need. Something to be put by for the weekend, the holiday, the retirement, the days of ill health, the education costs of the offspring or ones own self.

Too many creators of wealth are seeing it go the hands of the wealth destroyers thus it never advances beyond the stage of money. - for current need and sometimes even that is sacrificed.

When something will for certain be destroyed isn't there a little bit less interest in it's creation - as money the medium of exchange or wealth the method of storage?

Or to put it in Russian. They pretend to pay us we pretend to work.

Laissez Faire Nous government Leave Us Alone.
