I Couldn't Watch Debates

It was like watching a second rate high school football team playing the NFL. It was embarrassing to watch a total dressing down of a standing president. I had to turn it off.

Good morning itisntluck,

I thoroughly enjoyed the debate. I watched it from beginning to end. Yes, it was a bit uncomfortable watching our sitting president being dressed down, but after the last three and a half years of feeling constantly dressed down by our president for being a businessman I started to feel like what goes around comes around! Turn around is fair play! After years of corruption and malfeasance it is difficult to feel much sympathy…

  I hear what you are saying, but It was like watching some poor soul on America's Funniest Videos making an ass of himself. Just to see a fellow human humiliate himself like Barry was doing was more than I could stand. I almost......just almost, felt sorry for the ignorant ass.

"Mitt defeated . . . in the last debate, . . ." --

But it was the FIRST "debate."

  Doesn't the DNC know that most people in the U.S. have televisions? Well, at least for now. If the current decline continues they'll be trying to figure out how to eat those TVs

I watched Mr. Romney, C-SPAN 1 : --
1 - Paper Sheets were taped exactly blocking, the television screen's "right" side.
2 - All sound was OFF, excepting Mr. Romney.
This system worked perfectly .

  That's a great system......now if we can tune the bozo out next month I'll feel a wee bit better. I know Mormons. None of their faithful ever go on public welfare. The church puts them to work. If Romney can get a halfway decent majority in the congress we may be surprised. Alas, even if so, he'll only delay the inevitable.

    Some Mormons are on food stamps (lots of mouths to feed), and the free school lunch program seems to be okay-fine with plenty of them too.

        I'd bet a few bucks that if I asked them if they were faithful Mormons they'd say yes. I know Mormons too. I live in Mormonville! I've said Mormon way too many times in this... Is there a way to measure faithfulness besides asking, or are they automatically unfaithful if they take fed freebies?

        Oh yes. To be considered one of the faithful, one must have paid full tithing and answered their "calling", re. if one is called to teach a class or head up a youth group, you would do it. The mormons I know are pretty cool I've found that the closer I get to their Temple in SLC, the less pious the Mormons are. Converts are a PITA, but I have found that to be so with all religeons.

        I'm pretty sure the ones I'm referring to: free lunchers/food stampers, are temple recommends...I wonder if they're risking excommunication for going outside the church for "help". I'll have to ask around. Actually the biggest Mormon shocker I've heard about is how the young mom's don't know how to cook for their families. Is cooking becoming a lost art these days? I find this amazing.

        We have a mutual understanding and discuss plenty. These are loooong time friends I'm talking about (the ones I would ask, not the ones I'm wondering about (regarding food stamps), and they (my friends and the food stampers) don't know each other. As far as I know I'm not being judged by them and if I am then big whoopity doo. I have questions and I'm going to ask them.
