Hope my friends across the pond can regain the right to keep and bear arms. This will take years more likely decades to acomplish. Perhaps the Royal Olympic Shooting Team can be allowed to practice on British soil again. That might be a good place to start.

Well I'm guessing a 'very well thought out government petition' requesting amendment of certain points within the Human Rights Act (GB are possibly to have our own version of HRA in order to guard us against abuses thrust upon us through EU legislation).

In Article 1 of the First Protocol: Protection of Property, paragraph 1. "Every natural or legal person is entitled to the peaceful enjoyment of his possessions. No one shall be deprived of his possessions except in the 'public interest' and 'subject to the conditions provided for by law' and by the general principles of international law."

If 'public interest' can be looked at & if an acknowledgement that in light of recent & increasingly common distressing occurrences, the 'public interest' is no longer being served, that may be sufficient leverage to bust the door open ready for a string of other petitions using Human Rights law to regain a quality of life we are 'entitled' to. Kinda playing government, & every fundamentalist mooching terrorist crook at their own game. Notice no mention of guns at all...

I can't see it happening in a hurry either but things HAVE TO CHANGE. There is much hidden unrest & something has to give soon. If our government continues in it's refusal to listen to the people it is supposed to represent then it is a danger to us. Of course it wants to keep guns out of the peoples' hands. That way, we are no threat to them, have no voice & no power to change things.

Dittos! However don't expect the British will be getting their guns back. Don't think the drive is there.

When your life, or someone elses, is being imminently threatened by another. (That answers both questions.)

When is it moral to take a life? When it would be immoral not to.

"Walkers".... they serve no purpose, produce nothing, consume off the backs of others and are shady enough to avoid and perhaps fear a bit. They're every where.....

Chav is a made up word which is derived from the Gypsy word 'chavi' meaning child.

"The 2010 book Stab Proof Scarecrows surmised that "chav" was an abbreviation for "council housed and violent"" Wikipedia. Think Starnesville teenagers.
