Although this is not strickly Objectivist, it is something we should be aware of. It basicallyy is saying the EU is incompetent, and since we know our government is equally or worse, this is something that may warrent attention. They found 6 "middle eastern" men 20 miles into the US with stainless steel cylinders in backpacks. Gee, what do you do with those? I'm leaning towards profiling...

    Uh, my guess is they have a lot more sense than the US. Since people daily try to kill them, their incentive to actually do the job is a lot higher. That will take a few dozen more crazies here to do, and then we will wake up and "profiling" will not mean "racist" anymore. One can only hope....

    Do the Israelis use some other techniques to figure out what Methods Work Best, or, as I'd postulate for the US, is that shit determined by bureaucrats who've never gotten their shoes muddy in that field at all?

    Same as when State Legislatures (Legislators) with micro-experience in Education start designing class sizes, teaching techniques and teachers' salaries?

    Exactly. In addition, people have been excluded from the US for over a century. Just think of the Chinese exclusion act, for example. It could have been called the Buddhist/Taoist/Confucian exclusion act, since the Chinese behaved in a way that was economically competitive. And that was done merely for economic competition. Today, the Muslims are KILLING people, and no one wants to do anything about it. Stupidity squared.

    Our first phone number had four digits. Beyond that you asked the operator to connect and she knew everyone in the area four digits by memory. Ours was 6507. Direct dial over half the country came next. But for long distance it involved another operator in the next county. That didn't change much until after the forced break up of Ma Bell..There was no k. that didn't happen until circa 1990 40 years after we moved thank god and greyhound from the city back east by Europe somewhere to the rural west. Prior to McDonalds, and way prior to freeways.

    The only thing that saved the nation was a merger between Carl's Junior and Hardees.

    I thought so. I guess you are rural? For years we lived with dial up 55K, and one day I heard in the post office they had DSL in town, and turns out Qwest was forced to do it by the state. One of the very rare times they did something useful, should be a holiday. We paid for it over and over with their dumbass "access fees and taxes", so I consider it value for value (for once).

    Racism is another term abused by the left and manipulated for anyone's advantage. Calling a prune a prune, or a dried out plum, does not constitute any prejudice. Our mistake is letting people manipulate the Constitution with terms like "You can't exclude Muslims because it is unconstitutional. They are not excluding them for their religion, they are excluding them because some of them want to kill us, which I do not think is a constitutional guarantee. Until the Muslim world wakes up and asserts control, as other religions have had to do, they will get lumped together, unless they want to tag the extremists like cows.

    There was a document filed in a court case they talked about on Fox tonight, that said that was their exact plan for the US. If we continue to play footsie, and worry about "Islamophobia" crap, that will indeed happen.

    We are seeing history play out before our eyes. The Muslims are taking over Europe like they took over North Africa. North Africa was, at one time before Islam, almost 100% Christian. Piece by piece they get into positions power and then exclude non-Muslims. The non-Muslims are forced to convert to Islam or suffer a live beheading.

    I heard the founder, Frank Gaffney, speak last week and his information was both illuminating and terrifying. I especially recommend checking out their publications, some of which are downloadable for free. In particular is reading the "Explanatory Memorandum from the Archives of the Muslim Brotherhood" is a very chilling wake up call. And it can't be called 'racism' because it is their OWN words. Knowledge is the first weapon we have.

    What does exist is loyalty across. Active to Veterans to Reserves to Retirees. It's a RRAV!!! Except for the VFW they still owe an apology for that shameful performance with Carter.

    One has to be when there is a group trying to kill you, and enjoy it. Was there ever "Naziphobic" or Japaphobic"? No. This is all part of the sinister movement towards control and manipulation of us, by our "betters". Use names and labels and ostracize. That seems to be their system.
