I don't usually go to the theaters anymore to see a movie. When I go to see Atlas Shrugged Part II I am going to buy an extra ticket. I just want to show my support and appreciation for the people that made this important film.

My daughter is 16 and I've been on strike since 25/04/2006 careerwise, but my real work is to bring up the children with my underpinning of their moral and economic reality. School, media and facebook aren't doing it. Yeah we have the licence coming up too.

Is it possible that their negativity echo chamber shrivels and dies without attention? Why not populate the 'Net with Objectivist content/dialog? Just look at this board, man. Objectivist dialog is interesting, engaging, vital. Wherever we allow ourselves to fall into the trap of the zero, we only lend credence to it.

I suggest we may want to keep tabs on the youtube trailer sites and confront the collectivists who are doing their own type of negative reviews when it it obvious they never saw the movie and never will.

    Here is the main one:

Pt II is incredible. Better cast, better production than Pt I. Even those who haven't read Atlas Strugged should be able to get it. When may we expect Pt III?

I think it would be better if you handed to someone who was in line to buy a ticket for something else. Hey, why not a free movie? they just may learn something

I was surprised to hear a left wing friend of mine tell me that he read Atlas Shrugged years ago and enjoyed it. Hard to understand how you can enjoy the book and then vote for Obama.

Good idea, but better yet, drag a friend to it...even a socialist might be able to relate to 99.98% of the film (the extras in the streets, that is)

My plan is to go to a lounge before and after the show. I will draw a $ on a napkin and display it at my table.

Amen! Here in Cincinnati we have three major Tea Party groups who are basically having their meetings at the movie tonight. Each group has over 200 people, so that is very good! There could not be a better night, good pizza, seeing the new Atlas Shrugged movie, and then talking about philosophy and fiscal conservativism..........................aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

I wont buy and extra ticket, but I am taking my two older kids (17 and 13) and my wife. My kids have to read the book before they can get there drivers license. We live out in the county and without a drivers license your social life is very limited. My oldest has read it, and is now starting to read the virtues of selfishness. It will be my second child's first exposure to the book and philosophy within it. (well not really she hears me talk all the time... :) )

Also, when you see all the youtube scams and frauds of free downloads of Atlas Shrugged Part II, report them as such.
