This pretty much sums up the state of the Democrat Party.

    False quotation presented by fivedollargold:
“No ordinary American cares about their constitutional rights.”

    Actual quotation:
“No law-abiding citizen in the United States of America has any fear that their constitutional rights will be infringed in any way. None. Zero.”

So ultimately what we've learned from this topic is that fivedollargold is unwilling to verify the accuracy of political quotations before he posts them.

As if it would make a difference. Republican or Democrat, we have the best political parties that money can buy. If only people would smarten up and stop voting for them.

Still waiting for a confirmation of that credible source.

Also, I can't believe someone voted my post down just because I asked someone to back up their claim with a source. -_-

And an electorate dumb enough to elect Obama TWICE is probably dumb enough to elect Hillary, too.

WOW..I haven't read this much pessimism in the I don't know when. The Dairies of Ann Frank had more optimism than what I have read here.

Oh, and by the way Biden is a putts!!! We need someone like Cruz to undo everything that has been do to this country since 9/11. NDAA, Lawless Government, marshall law whenever they feel like it, and many others including Obamacare.

I'd add a muzzle-loading rifle and 1858 Remington reproduction pistol to that list, along with a goodly supply of caps.

I was with you up until your conclusion.
We were both more aggressive and intelligent than chimps, and we were a patriarchy, during our long climb to supremacy.

Bonobos have been called pigmy chimps. Actually they are an entirely different type of ape. They are much less aggressive than chimps and are considered to be more intelligent. Probably because they are a matriarchy, and mama don't go for that strong-arm stuff.

This guy is a clown. He did nothing in office. Hillary will club him in the Democratic Primary. As much as I'd love a Libertarian President, it will not happen. Therefore, my objective is to minimize the ability of the Government to take too significant an action... like it did when Bush was President and he had two Houses, or when Obama ignored the popular opinion and rammed Socialized medicine through both houses and then the Supreme Court (the third legislative body).
If the Senate stays in control of the socialists, we need a veto President. If the Senate swings to the social oppressors/church, we need a Democrat for the Oval Office.
Honestly, there will probably be another exit from the Supreme Court, and we can't afford another socialist interpreter there, or it will all come tumbling down.

Who really cares? No matter who wins they will be a member of the Big Government Party and we will all suffer more ineptitude in Dirty City. Biden or Bush or Hilliary or Christie or whoever the establishment puts out there is going to suck.

I watched that Breitbart video three times. Vice President Biden said "No law-abiding American has any fear that their Constitutional rights will be violated in any way. None. Zero." Whlle questionable itself, the statement made is not what is raging across the conservative blogosphere: No ordinary American cares about their rights. And, that, too, might be true, statistically. Also, as for the post up top from $5Gold about VP Biden not having absolute faith in the wisdom of the people, that is just basic republicanism, even from a democrat.

The man is a political hack. After so many years in Washington, I could probably train a bonobo to do as well as he does. Maybe even better.

It was more like-- no law abiding citizen should worry about having their constitutional rights taken away. It was said during a speech about limiting the second amendment. Kind of ironic.

Nothing would surprise me given the fact that the voters elected obama twice.

Biden actually has a good point to ponder with this quote: "Full disclosure: I do not have absolute faith in the judgment and wisdom of the American people. We're all human, and we can all be misled. When leaders don't level with citizens, we can't expect them to make good judgments."
