Dr. Paul, when issues of religious liberty and business rights are introduced, what is the most effective way to convince people that businesses should have the right to refuse service if an act violates their conscious?

More importantly, how would you do it? Only one or two agencies have ever been abolished. Government employees, and SEIU are very adept at keeping these things "working", and spending money.

What's you're opinion on a constitutional convention of states?

    Greetings Rand,

Thank you for taking time to be here. My question to you would be this:

Recently there have been many court rulings by both the SCOTUS as well as varied state court systems in regards to homosexual marriage and businesses being forced to conduct transactions contrary to their beliefs. What would you do to protect and strengthen religious freedom, especially in regards to the attacks on Christians who are being forced to close businesses or violate their beliefs?

Senator, you didn't get much of a chance to offer your broad themes on smaller government/expanding the party in either debate. How do you do that in the face of a hostile media?

What do you think Ayn Rand would think about Bernie Sanders and the amount of support he is gaining in his run for Presidency?

I know you have sponsored legislation to Audit The Federal Reserve. If elected President, would you work to also end the Federal Reserve? If not, why not? If so, what do you think will happen once it is abolished? What comes after the Fed?

Dr. Paul, once you defund Planned Parenthood, will you allow it to continue to operate just without tax dollars supporting it, or will you outlaw abortion as a whole?

    Dr. Paul,

Before 9/11, President Bush W. was trying to shrink the size of the government. The Service Employees International Union, was fighting him with lawsuits and delaying tactics. How would you shrink the government and defeat their tactics?

Dr. Paul, I am a supporter and am glad you are taking the time to defend the Constitution like no other candidate will. Do you have a plan that will set you aside from the pack, and the media will have no choice but to give you the time and coverage you deserve?

Dr. Paul - You have argued against net neutrality in the past. You have a very good point that allowing the government to control the internet can be extremely dangerous. If it gets deregulated, then you hand control over to the ISPs. The problem I see with that is that in the current state of things, there is very little competition between them. Is there anything that would encourage service providers to not try to slow down or block certain websites, without the government motivating them to do so anymore?

    Dr. Paul,

In 2006 the UIGEA, legislation regulating online gambling, was passed after it was attached to a Safe Port Act.

Now, billions of dollars worth of taxable revenue are going to companies operating outside the United States.

Would you be in favor of, and actively pursue, the repeal of the UIGEA to allow reputable companies to operate within the borders?

Thank you for your response. Have a great day!

Senator Paul, Thank you for taking time to be on this forum. My question to you is short and simple. Given the dysfunctional nature of Congress, at what point should we simply implement a 'sequester-like' provision that would automatically divest certain policymaking down to the state, county, or municipal level, if, say, Congress is unable to pass meaningful legislation within a given time period, say 12-24 months? Would you favor such "Rule-based" governance models as a permanent solution to the problems that are prone to human decision-making, especially at a time when it appears that our society is becoming too complex to manage so much from Washington?

Dr. Paul, I am a member of your National Physician Alliance. Were you aware that the Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) completes the "interoperable national health information infrastructure" that CMS and this administration are organizing and that that means the absolute end to patient privacy in their medical records? I know you voted for this because you were told it was the end to the SGR, which it was. But the way physicians (now to be referred to as "eligible professionals" along with dietitians and audiologists) will be paid is MUCH worse, and fully dependent on the whim of the Secretary of HHS. This was an EVIL bill that was greedily signed into law by the President because it ultimately forms the single payer system desired by this administration. What are your plans when it comes to reforming (or destroying) HHS and CMS and full federal control of physicians in the US? Thank you.

    Glad to see you here!

I am sure many of us in the Gulch agree with many of your policies. However, showing results and gaining broader acceptance is key to success in office, and a potential second term.
What are the top three items you consider critical to address foster positive fiscal change, and if different, the top three items to address to begin to get people thinking about personal responsibility, rather than government solutions?

You're the only candidate who has proposed a federal budget that balances in just 5 years without cutting military spending (in fact, you increase it)

Why don't you tout this more often in debates? Voters want to see your fiscal conservative credentials and they want you to show them that you're strong on the military.

    Senator Paul,
I am certain we would ask you more questions than the moderators of the GOP debates... :) Would you consider joining the Gulch as a regular member?
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

One thing that I am conocerned about non-interventionalism is how would we keep from being overrun for example by Russia when they just take over more and more countries and develop ever more powerful militaries? Wouldnt it be better to fight those acquisitive countries while they are smaller?

I just read Ron Paul's book on non-interventionalism. I really feel like I have been duped into supporting these constant wars. Is there anything you can go in congress, or as president for that matter, to get us OUT of these current wars ?

I would easily vote for you if you make it to the primaries and particularly to the election itself. If Trump wins, would you consider working in his administration to actually carry out the programs that you support, and I think he would support also?
