I believe that most politicians have no philosophical beliefs of any kind, including religion. They will proclaim anything that will gain them power and that they only regret that they can only totally reverse themselves once or twice in their lifetime. If they could get away with it, they would take a poll twice a day to see what they need to say to get elected.
Having said that, I believe that the US was built on Christian principles as interpreted by a group of men that were mostly secular. I don't think our Constitution and the Koran are compatible but I do not have enough expertise in either to make the argument one way or the other.
Too bad he covered his ass by saying he believes the racist in chief is Christian. That makes this near empty political talk. Yes, he might have been arrested for being part of a conspiracy to overthrow the emperor. That would have been a wonderful show.
I do think that the current emperor is clearly muslim in deeds, and a traitor to the constitution deserving of immediate arrest along with his VP, his entire cabinet, and all appointees of his administration including supreme court justices, and replacement in an immediate recall election.
