Are we an organization that is interested in open discussion or aren't we?

Yes he does. BUT, he is a religious zealot too, which nixes him in my book. Who knows what "his" god will want. There are so many "gods" out there, why should we listen to his "god" and not the "muslim god"

I want to hear Sanders in detail actually. I want to know how far he is willing to go to gauge where the mood of the country is

You don't have to listen to the ones you do not like. However the open minded of us are interested. I say let them talk and hang themselves.

Well given the disappointing field so far maybe digging deep is the way to identify future leaders of whatever replaces the old Republican Party with a new Second Party. I was around Louisiana before and after Katrina when he was in Congress and Blanco which should be spelled with a k was governor. She completely hashed things up so he's got a perspective on picking up the pieces and rebuilding after another failed leftist was done. That and the REAL ID business makes him all the more interesting. I recall on the radio he didn't talk like a Republican he talked more like a Gulcher. Maybe, since we are apparently gaining noteriety or fame take your pick a good spring board would be useful - especially when the others get tiresome.

I would like to see what the suggested candidates might want to present to this forum. Actually I would have nothing against all candidates having a single presentation opportunity if they abide by the Gulch rules.

Excellent point....Well made, Michael A. I agree. Jindal has an excellent conservative record. I suppose I left him out because he is so low in the polls. My mistake...it is still early and I get angry when we (the citizens) give in to the press and their choice of whom to follow. I also agree that we should have an element of fairness from our end. I was disappointed with some of the comments directed at Cruz during the debate. So what if he looked into the camera and seemed TOO well prepared (canned). I care about what he says more. He is always very well spoken and he believes in his positions and always consistent because it comes from his core beliefs....which closely align with mine. The reason I am interested in more people is because I am not as aware of the stated beliefs vs the actual doings of many of the candidates from different parts of the country.

She said so. 'I'm female and I'm a Democrat.' The pieces of the puzzle of how the left wing works all coming together.

One good thing about emotions- they are instant barometers that something should be thought about and analyzed. My reaction to Fiorina so far is basically emotional, but I am sure from past experience that where there is smoke, there is fire...

No interest in hearing from the religious zealots like Huckabee, Cruz, Rubio, and actually Carson (too bad). Something about Fiorina I just dont like after the last debate. I would rather listen to Trump, as he just says it like it is.

I'd like to hear Jindal. He's one of a handful of Governors who stood up to the required national ID law. I'd also like to see an element of fairness in the candidates ability to present their views. If not here then where?
