Democratic Blues: Barack Obama will leave his party in its worst shape since the Great Depression—even if Hillary wins.

Uh-oh, a Marx-o-crat True Believer is having a moment of "we must face the 'blank-out'" clarity... but still doesn't quite get there.

I stopped reading when it became apparent that the author was not going to give credence to the political effectiveness of the Tea Party.

Read what you can of his dissembling before his party purges him and this piece.

No, he's going to stick around D.C. and blame everything on the Republicans. The horrible thing about that is that the Republicans will let him. There has been no push back from the Republicans during O's entire administration.

You forgot to add in the pork belly futures, the book and movie deals, the lecture circuit opportunities and various other lifetime perks. Also most of the millions are not provided by the candidate.

Now if you had said a coalition of interested parties seeking control and the ability to grant fat contracts...

Yes we need a leader!!!!!!, have to find one first. But whoever spends millions and millions of dollars to get into an office that pays $250,000.00 per year, give or take, it just boggles the mind.......

    Poor baby.
You joyfully elected him. I could be doing the happy dance if it wasn't for the fact that the Republicans were not a heluva lot better than the Democrats. It will be interesting to see if the words of the Trumper will change anything.

Obama has done more to push us towards socialism than any president since fdr. That is his legacy. He is the first black president, but he is arrogant and entitled and stupid when it comes to foreign policy. Domestically he pushed us closer to bankruptcy than anyone. I do agree that the democrats now is the geriatric party also. Good riddance I say

It's the same old cross cut saw with logger Dumbo on one end and logger Demo on the other. One party blaming both it's two halves. Finger pointing but both equally guilty.

You know they are going to blame Bush. Of course he had his hand in it but it will be 100% his fault.

Rich, that's a big reason that I skip Election Day any more. If Dingy Harry and Queen Nancy were still in charge, things would have gone exactly as they have gone...no change whatsoever. So what's the point of voting any more? If voting was important, they wouldn't let us do it.

All those victories don't seem to have translated into much action. Especially at the Federal level the Republicans seem to have done little to slow the Obama agenda.

If Republican leadership had any brains in their pointy little heads (debatable to be sure), they'd concede the White House to the Democrats, presumably Hillary (and she's going to win either way) and focus all money and effort towards taking a dominating position in the Congress. Whomever becomes President next is going to get the heat for the train wreck that's coming. Why not let The Hilderbeast have it and as long as there's a veto proof majority in Congress, Congress can dictate to the Oval Office what it may, and what's infinitely more important, what it may NOT do. For starters, take the keys for Air Force One. No Mr/Ms President, you won't need it...you're not going anywhere...there's plenty of work for you at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and you're going to do it. You wanted the job, you've got. Now get to work. (And no, we're not even remotely interested in what you think that we should do.)
