The title is an article in the recent Gallup Poll. I guess, the 60% believe that by taxing the rich the money will filter down to them. The dopey middle class (60%) thinks they'll be getting a share. They'll be in for a surprise though. The share will be going to the down to the moochers.

They cannot do the math that even if all the most wealthy (1%) were stripped of thier money and still kept working, it would have a pittance effect on their income. Also, they cannot make the connection between taxing the wealty and creating jobs. I don't feel sorry for citizens that voted for obama and are out of work. Stupid is as stupid does.

Not that those on this forum are so naive; however, man's nature hasn't changed throughout 99.9% of his existence, therefore, the nature and trend of governments will always go to an eventual tyranny, regardless of its start because governments are made of MAN.

According to George Washington, this grand experiment is answer the question, "Can man rule himself?" We shall see.

One constitutional scholar that is pro-constitution said on a TV show that it was grand idea, too bad it ended (past tense).

The socialist under Wildrow Wilson started this 100 years ago. It's no wonder that obama on obamacare said it took 100 years to get to this point.

In the book "The Real George Washington," it was said that a personality as his comes along every 300 to 350 years or so. Let's hope it's sooner. Once the "give-me-somethings" exceed 50% of the electorate, I think, but don't hope, it's all over.

'“It’s only human,” you cry in defense of any depravity, reaching the stage of self-abasement where you seek to make the concept “human” mean the weakling, the fool, the rotter, the liar, the failure, the coward, the fraud, and to exile from the human race the hero, the thinker, the producer, the inventor, the strong, the purposeful, the pure—as if “to feel” were human, but to think were not, as if to fail were human, but to succeed were not, as if corruption were human, but virtue were not—as if the premise of death were proper to man, but the premise of life were not." AR, "Return of the Primitive."
Man is not inherently evil or flawed. Flawed systems of governance attract evil men.
