I think Trump bowed out of this one. He won't even be there.

It is being predicted on Fox and other news outlets that the debate will be a bloodbath. Yes, Trump will morph into a Junkyard Dog and tear apart the rest of the Lap-dog candidates. Blood will flow!

I liked Walker until I saw his exclusive interview on Newsmax tonight. The interviewer asked " was Walker for Illegals to get citizenship? (a year ago)?" Walker said "NO I'm against citizenship" but the he said, "back then that I did say that". like a typical Politician he doesn't own anything he says.

I think Trump will be big-mouthed,and will say things that others do not dare to say--not neces-
sarily what is right, however. I do not want him as
the nominee, but would still vote for him over Clinton, Sanders, Biden, or any of the other
    Democrats running.

I prefer Scott Walker. He is not perfect--I read
yesterday or today in the paper an article about
his going for some subsidies in Wisconsin--but
we're not going to get a perfect candidate. He
seems to know better than to put his foot in his
    mouth.

One thing I am afraid of, is , if Trump
does not get the nomination, his running as an
    independent or a third-party candidate, being a
"spoiler", and getting the Democrat in.

Understanding human sensibilities, I would expect answers to legitimate questions and boulders for rocks thrown.
Can the Donald be a Presidential Person, I think he can.

    V16?
Now there's an expression for the candidates that I'll be happy to steal. Does that make me a looter?

Depends on how big the engine is. Once it gets narrowed down, just like smaller engines, they need less oil.

Same here! Nice to see you understood exactly what I was saying. I hate liars and people who make promises they have no intention of keeping.

I hope he does blow things up. With ten candidates I suspect that forum will be as dry as a California lake. Perhaps his antics will goose some of them into an interesting presentation. I'm beginning to think of Trump as oil. By that I mean that any engine will freeze up without a little oil. He's keeping the party from becoming concretized. Add to that, that he's become a serious contender. As in his career, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.

if I wrote off the politicians who have lied to me, I would have
about three people left, for whom I could vote. -- j

Yes. . we need questions like "What three entitlements
would you cut first, to address the national debt?" -- j

I say he will do a lot of talking about how the emperor has no clothes and blow apart the tired old platitudes of the other candidates. We desperately need someone who will just tell it like it is for a change. If thats all Trump brings to the table, he has my vote.

hell, I make so much I received an EBT food stamp card after a tornado came through.
I thought it was only good for a month.
When Big Brother sent a letter and said I could keep using it, I shredded the damn thing.

It depends on when he tries to bolt and form a new party. Perot started very early in that effort and set up organizations and groups of lawyers aimed at achieving ballot status very very early. Trump has made no move to do so. If he waits till after the first group of primaries pass and then tries in say, April, it will be too late to achieve ballot status with a new party or as an Independent. He will find himself on only about 30 or so ballots after a ton of hard fought lawsuits. If it plays out like that he will fall well short of Perot. Personally I doubt that is his strategy. I think he is aiming to get the Republican nomination just as he says.
