My reading of this is that real wages are increasing. Thus, all else being equal, the stock market should do well. Of course, there is the 800-pound gorilla in the room--Obamacare.

My wife used to make me type her reports. I got tired of it and bought her the Dragon software. She was skeptical, but finally tried it. Now she does all of her reports herself using it. Dragon isn't perfect, but it's pretty good.

Not necessary. I know how it looks to the reader. I should apologize to all trying to read my posts and comments.
I should have Dragon up and running on the new machine soon. The real problem is getting ot to recognize my voice again. It ws on my other machine for three years so it "knew" my voice well. that was the one file I couldn't move.

As I explained in an earlier post, I'm visually impaired and usually use Dragon to do my writing, I have a new computer an it's not installed and working yet on this machine. I try to catch things but don't always. I'll make a better attempt to get everything clean. Very difficult some times.

Hmmmm. A couple of things here. Not being a data analyst or a statistics modeler, you lost me about ten words in. That's okay. I'm easily confused. Secondly, (and I think you are the one who said you didn't much like punctuation and spelling rule. I'm probably wrong but anyway...) can you please stop a few seconds and reread your posts? I know it's very anal of me but I just cringe to see improper spelling, punctuation and contextual errors. I know you'll probably flame me but, hopefully, my asbestos underwear will hold up.

There appears to be a cyclic component to the peaks and vallies on this chart. One should do a power spectrum and Fourier frequency analysis on the dat to determine exactly what it is and then develop a mathematical model that dup;icates the major characteristics of the time series. Then one could predict with some certainty when the peaks and vallies will occur and invest accordingly.
That will almost certainly guarantee that you will lose every penny you invest. As the poster said, there is an 800 pound gorilla in the room that messes things up. There is also the fact that regulators will almost always cause unanticipated effects when they tinker with rules and regulations. Ir the fed changes it minds.
Sorry I couldn't resist poking a little fun at the data analysts and stat modelers.
