    >"People like that obviously have never went to the middle of nowhere and had a picnic where nobody saw them doing anything."

You mean, "People like that obviously have never GONE to the middle of nowhere . . ."

LOL! And you want to hear all of Galt's speech on film, eh?

    >You mistakenly believe that quantity makes quality.

Whereas you believe that lack of quantity — failure, both commercial and critical — makes for quality so long as the "right" kind of people see it.

So far as I (and the majority of other moviegoers) can tell, both AS-I and AS-II were exercises in masturbatory self-indulgence on the part of Aglialoro, Kaslow, Scott, Kelley, et al. There was never any serious attempt to adapt the novel to the screen. I have no confidence AS-III will be any different.

I completely agree. And they will NEVER "get it". Hanging out somewhere for the soul purpose of being a pest to others speaks volumes as well.

People like that obviously have never went to the middle of nowhere and had a picnic where nobody saw them doing anything. They are often always concerned about what someone else is doing. I take a lot of pride in knowing that the Atlas Shrugged films are not for everyone. They are like going to a quite park where there are no Darren like people around, and enjoying something that involves thinking. When a car load of Darren types pulls up and starts making a lot of noise, they ruin the experience. So I welcome only 6 people from here who enjoy the films as opposed to 2 million popcorn eating people who don't know the difference between Atlas and the latest Jim Carrey film.

why are you so vitriolic and not helpful to the effort? for my self, I would never buy services from one who was so negative I couldn't see the potential.

You mistakenly believe that quantity makes quality. 6 people from here has more value than 2 million people who think in the fashion you display.

    >>>And that would be us.

All 6 of you. What about the other 2 million potential ticket-buyers who hear how appalling the movie is from word-of-mouth reviews?

    Who needs 'em, right?

You just made my point. Thanks.

    >>>Are there any filmmaking principles, in regard to audience appeal, that you're following ...

They would have to clear that first with David Kelley to ensure that such principles were "consistent with Objectivism."

Someone ask him if gov't regulations are the reason the Atlas Shrugged films make so little money.

Luckily for Devo there was a sale on red flower pots and whips... (and some seriously ugly black attire. Black sleeveless turtle necks...I bet they got those cheap.) Whip it good!
