I can't seem to express my joy at the fact that electioneering season is once again upon us! And I'm doubly thrilled that the assorted politicos are making robo calls to my cell phone (purely as a public service you understand!) to remind me that there's an upcoming reporting deadline, so I need to make my donation right away!

What annoys me most of all is the fact that I'm opposed to campaign contributions to ANY party or candidate. My own conviction is that if YOU want that job or office, YOU pay for it.

(Sorry for the rant. I've had two calls on my cell phone, no less, so far today.)
