For too long now I see the disdain people in government and far too many in society have for America. Today the betrayal of SCOTUS combined with the passages of the TTP and I think to myself WHY THE HELL DO I BOTHER DOING ANYTHING TO HELP THIS NATION.

No longer will I do anything AT ALL to help put money in the coffers of this country. I will soak up every freakin' cent taken from me in taxes and infuse it into my life, for my benefit, and for my betterment.

The US Government is disgusting and reprehensible AND deserves to be toppled.

"“The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

Thomas Jefferson

I asked for it? Explain that. I'm a Constitutional Conservative and an Independent voter.I served this nation in the US Military and never voted for anyone who would sully, degrade or ignore the Constitution. I've written commentary, two books, and did a bit of radio warning against what is here today. If you are saying I predicted what we've seeing then I, with much disgust, can agree with you. If you're saying that I ignorantly or willfully helped to bring about this condition then my words for you are going to be far less agreeable.

    Huzzah! Huzzah!
I believe it is time for some more TEA party marches on Washington. They have been quiet... Have they been so oppressed by this government that they fear to gather and protest? It would appear that the heavy hand of government has spread fear.
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquence—it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action."—George Washington (?). The attribution is dubious but the premise is accurate.

Well said AJ, and I am in total agreement with you. When I heard about the scotus (I will not capitalize to show any respect for them) decision, the first thing that came to mind was the scene in ASII where the guy is carving on the board 'America. Born 1776 died today'. We who morn the loss of our once great nation should start wearing black arm bands.
