On more than one occasion. It's where I learned to respect the opponents and despise the REMFs. Did time in Korea up on the DMZ and several other fun places. Aviation asset wise we lucked out. Even up close to the DMZ in Vietnam and the Laotian border we were blessed with air superiority. Except for close air support which was helicopters that worked as best the could and fighter jets that flew too fast and would not lay in ordnance close enough. Metrical Division, not mine, was close by. Metrical really sucked in all respects That's about enough of that. I really wish those dumb shit Democrats had stayed off the subject a few elections ago. you almost put it behind and then.. up pops that asshole Kerry. Three scratches and he turns and runs abandoning the people he was supposed to be leading. He was a REMF then and is a REMF now. On the other hand if you forget you get people like Kerry. So??? Last comment. I recall the end and the aftermath. Then along came Kuwait and all the younger than me moms and dads were waving the flag again. They knew of me and asked what I thought. "Be the first one on your block to have your kid come home in a box. Are you SURE it's worth it? Are you going to support these KIDS regardless? It's not a video game with a GD restart button.

We all know how that turned out.

Some will glance at this and take exception to call anyone especially a leftie a fascist. For their benefit. Left wing is belief in government controlling citizens, Fascist is by any means needed. Ergo Sum both GOP and DEM are considered left wing fascist. GOP heavily socialist corporatist, DEM heavily Socialist Statist put it all together whatcha got? The Wicked Witch of the Left running a two faced one party system of government.

the rest as FFA suggested is just personal preference.

As you probably know I am not a fan of any of them, and LBJ killed a few people I knew, too. So I withdraw the award of most fascist for the time being.

Not even close to the most but fascist none the less. Nixon, Lyndon Butcher Johnson, Clinton and Obama come readily to mind and further back in history FDR. All including Bush are Republicans or Democrats and believe like all good socialists in Government control of citizens by any and all means. The essence of fascism.

My vote would go to Lyndon Johnson but then the bastard tried to kill me and did kill many of my friends. It's personal not business in his case. Flash forward or backward you will get different nominations and different votes from different folks. Full circle we are back at greater and lesser evils and the very slight difference between the two. If any

Bush pretended to attack enemies of liberty. His administration was the most fascist in American history. They were and are the enemy of liberty. They created the "enemies" that they attacked for profit.

and I watch many, trying to discern truth among
the segments of "produced news." . to BHO and
the Ds, Everything Is Political. . this distorts so many
things that my brain is frustrated. . the chunks of
truth which remain are 1.we're broke, and 2.most
things tend to reduce freedom. . the only sane
result may well be revolution, yet it may take a
form never yet seen -- economic, by the refusal
of taxpayers to buy govt services. . not with a bang,
    but a whimper. -- j

Bush attacked the enemies of liberty, and BHO is
mollycoddling them. . from one extreme to the other.

John, I find this post interesting. The negatives I worry about are the loss of freedom and the ascendancy of the moochers and looters. I think that human beings are better off than ever before in history, but I can't help but think of how wonderful things would be if we all lived by Rand's principles.
I judge reality by refusing to watch any news program!

Humanity has advanced because people recognized problems and worked to solve them.
"Don't worry, be happy" is the solution that Bush and Obama have been spoon-feeding us as they have fastened the manacles on our liberty. Instead of preparing people to think and solve problems, the offering is common core and pharmaceuticals.
