Hi friends:) Well, in a previous post, I said that Carrington's work was of use with emotionality but not behavior. I took my own thoughts as a kind of challenge. I spent about 40 minutes today trying every twist in thinking and feeling I could, while applying Carrington's principle. Eventually, I came upon the idea of feeling deeply an attitude of being that I had unconsciously absorbed long ago, being a Sad Sack. I don't want to go into details on this forum. I'll just say that eventually I felt like my whole self was absorbed into the Sad Sack subpersonality, and then it flowed out of m, freeing me. Now if I want to be a Sad Sack, I can be it, but I can take it off like a suit of clothes:)

One more thought: since I used the releasing methods relentlessly while at work, my productivity went up from 65% to over 100%. All the managers complimented me separately about this.
The rationale for this I will explain in depth in ye coming workshop.

I don't understand what this means.

It means that instead of feeling I just can't do things, and not really knowing why, I can do things relatively easily. I may feel kinda sad at times (which I didn't feel so deeply before), but it's worth it, because now I can move about relatively easily.

Well, imagine that you want to do something. A feeling stands in your way. As is natural, when that happens, you want the feeling to go away. What happens is that the feeling acts like a small child, hiding when you're trying to control his actions. The releasing process is a way of not trying to change the feeling. Instead, you feel the pure feeling for a while. Then, the feeling may sting a while, and eventually depart. That is the cycle of emotionality in folks, amigo. If you don't try to shut out the emotion, and instead let yourself just feel it, eventually it loses the power to affect your behavior. Can you relate to this at all in your own life?
