I'm retired from the corporate world and actively engaged in spoiling my four grandchildren, working with my daughter in her first grade classroom and displaying my artwork on weekends at an indoor swapmeet. My husband, Dave and I have been married for almost 47 years and we still love each other...more than the day we were married.

We didn't do anything special. Just hung in there thru thick and thin and gave 120% of each of us. And didn't go to bed angry. It's easy. Glad I found you too. I love the articles. Beats the news.

I do watercolor and pastel and graphite. I like to paint wildlife. Mostly birds of prey and some modern art. Cubism is fun.

Welcome to the Gulch, Linda! What is your medium? I paint people - not portraits, people. I can display my artwork but I can't swap it! :)

Yes government is the problem but people like you and me and the others in Galt Gulch are the solution. It won't happen overnight but we will bring back the constitutional government if we get active. If we just talk to people with common sense and don't call them names. I've turned a few people around and if we all do that we'll get enough.

My family owns a small Home and Garden Center outside of Pittsburgh. Love the work and my family. Taxes and Government are another story.

Immensely. I only worked because of the income and my husband provides just fine for the two of us now that we don't have kids at home and no mortgage.

    what do you do?
