Nothing beats life in a small town. Some nice Angus bulls out for a stroll through town and they caused a Monday afternoon traffic jam.

Love the mountains, but the ocean is also good. Life here in Florida has the advantage of being able to discuss the state of the world with very senior seniors. I am always surprised at how erudite the regular Joes and Jills are. They've seen it all, nothing surprises them, and they have the solution for everything. True, some of the solutions involve Marine Snipers, but most of them are less radical. If Angus cattle were to meander down one of the streets here on the west coast of the east coast, I've got a feeling several restaurant owners would be advertising some Angus beef specials.

please check out my bully-burger note below -- we
had to capture him and seduce him into a trailer
to "take him to the butcher" -- not easy. . but he was
thirsty and hungry after all of that Don Quixote stuff. -- j

By the way, many years ago there was a line of kitchen appliances called "Black Angus." I was working at a discount department store at the time and a lady came in who insisted that she wanted to buy Black Agnes. Took us a while to figure out what she wanted.

back in the 70s, we had a young angus bull who
rooted under a chain-link fence, got out, and fought
an evergreen tree until all of the low branches were
broken off, and he had one bloody head. . we called
    him bully-burger a week after that. . yum! -- j
