FIX THE WEBSITE, PLEASE!

Okay, my frustration has reached its apex.
Who'd you hire to design the website, the same people who did the Obamacare site?
1) No html tags... I can live with that, but it's a pain in the ass.
2) persistent comments. FIX THIS. It's annoying as hell.
3) Crippled navigation. Likewise annoying as hell.

"persistent comments"... explain this so I can follow along to the point of knowing if I agree or disagree.
And 'crippled navigation'... is that because khalling is parked in your spot now?
Whatcha mean? I didn't even know we had assigned parking here...
When I type a reply, change my mind, cancel, then go to reply to another message, the text from my first reply appears in the box.
This is is problematic for a mental flea like me, because many time's I'll be scrolling down (or up; the threading on messages at times is insane) to grab some text to quote, decide to reply to another message... my first reply box disappears, and my text from it appears in the new reply box.
Crippled navigation is more difficult to explain.
For example, I'll be in the process of editing a comment of mine (I often need to elaborate my comments, and try to be amusing when entering my reason), want to see the original comment I was replying to... and the back button will take me to the *previous* topic I was viewing, not the topic with the comment I had replied to.
1. "Persistent comments" should now be resolved.
2. Comment editing is now all done inline - which should resolve your back button issue.
Also note, while we were in there we decided to knock another long standing issue - how long comments should be editable. Previously, comments remained editable forever. Now, comments are editable for 15 minutes after initially posted.
Thanks again for the feedback Hiraghm.
This is a feature we've long had in queue. It however is not a priority and probably won't be for some time.
RE: "When I type a reply, change my mind, cancel, then go to reply to another message, the text from my first reply appears in the box."
While this would probably be considered an "edge-case", or an issue effecting only a very small percentage of overall usage, I think it's something we could probably knock out fairly quickly - like today.
RE: "Crippled navigation"
This is how browser "back" buttons work. When you hit "back", your browser takes you back 1 page in your browser history. There is nothing that can be done about this. It's simply the-way-of-the-web. Maybe I'm just not reading your comment right?
Thanks Hiraghm.
It suggests the software is afoul. You are correct. I also got navigated once to a wrong page earlier.
Hopefully, it’s something a webmaster can fix in the way of error, and not corruption as the result of hacking.
