Rhett Butler: Objectivist?
"I never give anything without expecting something in return".
There's a Gone with the Wind marathon on tv right now, and I'm watching it in light of Atlas Shrugged. I'm observing Rhett, how much like Rearden, Roark, and Galt he is.
But, then, who's Scarlett? Wesley Mouch?
Where does Ashley Wilkes stand? Paul Larkin?
And Miss Melanie? Who's her equivalent in Atlas Shrugged? Or are there character types out there not covered in Ayn Rand's philosophy?
