“It’s a not-so-veiled threat that if [lawmakers] don’t do what the president wants, law enforcement agencies are going to get the short end of the stick,”
Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith said.

    Local funding for local law enforcement.
    Civil forfeitures for funding are unconstitutional.
    Speed traps are immoral.
    Military weapons of war are not appropriate for local law enforcement (and once were illegal under Posse Comitatus.).
    Arm and train the militia (including original intent of the constitution and Bill of Rights).

    Exactly. Past administrations I think have been a little less open about it. With only 2 years left and Republicans in control of both houses I think Obama is just going to tell it like it is.

    Typical strategy for this administration. When Obama talked about Cuba he said if a strategy doesn't work it's time to try something new. He should take his own advice.
