Are you not getting tired of the sam ole same ole in the Newly Elected Congress? They voted to repeal OBlamerCare, great it will not go anyplace so where's the alternative?
Where's the Immigration reform or any bill to secure our boarder?
Where's the bill stopping the IRS from Illegally given Illegals Billions in Extra tax money?
I think we were duped in November.

    This bill is a little different. It authorizes congress to start drafting a new bill to replace Obamacare in case the Supreme Court strikes down subsidies in states that have no exchanges. This is like the efforts made by Republicans to postpone the launch of the website, knowing at the time the website was not ready. Sure, it may be a futile point, (as it was then) but only because the Dems are obstructing the work (as they did then) that needs to be done. There will be no plan B in place to deal with the Supreme Court ruling if nothing is done, and that decision could be made before summer. So...trying to gain consensus while getting this out of the way now seems okay to me, in fact, a wise thing to do.
    It was just announced that the IRS was going to make deferred payments to immigrants. Hold your horses. It’s too soon to say nothing is being done.

      Without BOLD ACTION, nothing will be the result.
      The only bold actions of the GOP in the past 50 years have been invasions of other countries without congressional declarations of war.
      The GOP is just a wing of the DepRep big government party.
      Expecting the GOP to take bold action in favor of liberty is like expecting King George to honor the rights of American colonists as Englishmen, or expecting King Abe Lincoln to lower tarrifs to avoid civil war.
      Never happen.

    I have little faith in McConnell and Boehner. That being said, Obama has already said he will veto everything we voted these people in to do. I honestly don't know where we go from here. I would like to see the bills come forward and force a Presidential Veto but that is just gamesmanship. I see very little getting done and I highly doubt I will like what is done. After the election I expected 2 years of gridlock which is better than what we had but does little to move us forward.

      If they had a solution attached to the repeal bill then when he did Veto it he would look like the buffoon. Now with the congress voting on JUST REPEAL for the 50th time they look like total idiots!

        True but even if a reform bill was attached that would not be reported and very few are paying attention. The biggest problem I see is Obama vowing to veto almost everything the Republicans want. It makes it impossible to negotiate.

          O has stated he won't negotiate (by saying he will veto everything.).
          Its the same as Lincoln refusing to meet with southern representatives who wanted to avoid war, and then blaming the south for the war.
          It's nothing but lying hubris. The fact that the GOP doesn't resist proves they want things as they are, regardless of their promises to get elected.
          The election proved that the people dont support Obama, and the polls show his approval ratings are horrible. There will be no better opportunity to expose the lies of the Dem Party if the GOP really wants to reduce government.
          The GOP are worse than the Dems because they lie about wanting smaller government.

    I'm getting very tired of the spineless GOP whose members lie to us to get elected and then rubber stamp Obama's socialist agenda.

    It's certain defeat, but I may vote the Constitution Party next time around.
