Democrat?

Why is it that nowhere in the story is the party affiliation of Morrissey distinctly identified. Only is it alluded that he is/was a Democrat.

It's also not surprising that more than 70% of Dems voted for him. Had he been a Repub, he would have been vilified and excoriated by the press to no end, and would not have only been thrown out of the party, but would have had all funding sources dry up.

    You guys are missing the point. Now that Ovomitcare provides free birth control, why aren't these women taking advantage of it? Hussein Obama must act quickly in this crisis and issue executive orders! He must create a Sex Czar to educate these women! He must reassign Department of Defense funds to HHS for construction of abortion clinics! He must order the Department of Education to mandate pre-kindergarten sex ed instruction! He must address this crisis in his SOTU speech followed by a speaking tour of college campuses! Then he must take a vacation to recover from his incredibly difficult job.

    Kicking him out was merely for show. He'll be welcomed back into the fold with open arms.

    Exactly. Shows how little people pay attention. If the Democrats kicked him out he must be disgusting. They tolerate everything.

    Oh, of course. He had to switch to independent since the dems kicked him out. Never fear, he'll be a dem again, and caucus with the dems. And they'll find nothing wrong with him.

    Strange. I looked on Wikipedia and he calls himself an Independent now. He was a Democrat and switched. If he had been a Republican I am guessing it would have been mentioned in every other sentence.
