Professor is a nickname that was given to me over 40 years ago by a good friend, and it is now the only name most people know me by.
It's great to have a forum where logic is respected and used. I am really sick of Facebook - noone reads my posts, and my comments are usually ridiculed. But I just can't keep from responding to the senseless posts made by unthinking people.
I am hoping that I can meet like-minded people, and even more hoping to find some who live in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. I've been here 46 years, and have yet to meet another objectivist!

However, the main drain on our patience is the VI Water & Power Authority - a semi-autonomous agency - that keeps raising our power rates, while providing terrible service! Many people and businesses have left the islands, since they can't afford to pay their huge power bills. However, even with all its disadvantages, I will never leave the serenity and beauty of the Virgin Islands.
Good luck in your quest to find like minded people in your area. You've likely come to the best place to find them, at least in my humble opinion.
